Could this be used in a 5 gal bucket during camping?

I have a 5 gallon camp toilet. I put one pod in a glass mason jar filled with water. The jar has measuring lines on side. I use 1/4 of jar at a time. According to directions, one pod for 40 gallons. My system makes 10 gallon servings. Still much for my 5 gallon tank, but better on wallet and environment. Very effective at this proportion.

what is the scent? Is it over poewering or lightly scented?

A "fresh scent" without over powering. Great scent to accommodate with any holding tank

Am i suppose to drop one in when it is full and right before I dump the waste or drop one in as the waste is building or when it's empty?

Dump a new packet into the tank, with a little water, immediately after you empty it. Then, the product will work to deoderize the waste water as it accumulates.

Does this really help break down non-RV toilet paper? This is for my 5th wheel camper.

A few years ago (5-7?)I watched an informative youtube video made by a young RVer couple to perform a disintegration test of the expensive "RV Toilet Paper" versus a few top name brands and Walmart's "Great Value Ultra Strong 2 ply toilet paper" that states "safe for septic tanks". The Walmart brand disintegrated better than any other brand including the expensive "RV Toilet Paper" and for a LOT less money! 👍 I have been using the Walmart TP ever since with no problems. And I have used Walex Bio Pak in my 5th wheel black water tank since about 2015 or 2016 (and every 2-3 years use a load of Walex Commando but follow the directions VERY CAREFULLY).
