Amazing colors and the artwork is beautiful, of course! I bought this for my best friend and ended up buying one for me. It’s a must have for a HMC or any Ghibli fan.

Quite a fun read for Ghibli/Howl lovers of any age. It's a graphic novel form of the Ghibli movie, which isn't exactly the same as the original book. Now I will go back and look for the rest!

A great movie companion book, but really, if you are in love with the movie, please read the original book by Diana Wynne Jones Howl's Moving Castle , or really the whole series, her fantasy is even more amazing and intruiging than the Miyazaki movie. This book is full of pictures, set up with minimal text like a graphic novel. My 2 year old and 11 year old love this all the same, and love having the stills of the movie to look through all the details in the artwork. Fairly heavy, and high quality all around. Would be a great gift.

We love these books by Miyazaki. A friendly English version that shortens the story just a bit but still gets the main ideas and lessons.

beautiful keepsake worth much more

When I went on a Miya-san book purchasing binge from Viz, I wasn't sure how these picture books would relate to the 'Art of' books. Turns out these picture books are just that, re-tellings of the movies using the cell artwork and word balloons where appropriate. The glossy pages and images hold up well and the hardcovers are well manufactured in this batch. These books are suitable to reading to small children as bed time stories, though older readers may appreciate them just as much. They are complimentary to the 'Art of' books, but not replacements. Still very recommended. Sophie's world of magic, wizards and witches jumps off the pages as she endeavors to nurture Howl and the rest of the castle's motley gang.

Un acquisto che mi è piaciuto tantissimo! In pratica questo libro è la storia dell'omonimo film Il castello errante di Howl con immagini del film, e alcuni piccoli fumetti. Se vi piace il film apprezzerete non tanto leggere la storia e i ballon dei dialoghi, quanto vedere fotogrammi e immagini del film e notarne i vari particolari che non potreste apprezzare se non bloccando ogni 2 secondi la visione.

Esta história é uma das minhas favoritas, porque não é só uma história para crianças. Este é o filme em forma de livro. Tem várias imagens do filme, com um pequeno texto. Encadernação em capa dura, muito bem feita, vai preservar esta pequena obra de arte por muitos anos (felizmente)!
