As described. Glad I purchased this...good craftmanship.

We are very happy with this. I like that the arms extend out to fit our metal sink. It is nice and large and held lots of whole apples as we rinsed them in this strainer and then reached for apples, placed in our apple-peeler-corer- and then proceeded to can apple slices. We've also used for pasta. I worry about it rusting if I leave it wet-- but I haven't had an issue yet-- I'm just careful not to leave it set in a puddle of water. The mesh did catch some of the smaller pieces of baked apple skins (used it to drain water for apple sauce. Caught the water in a bowl for apple juice:) but when I washed it I just gave a scrub on both sides with a nylon-bristled brush from the dollar store. So, it wasn't hard to clean-- just a bit more tedious to get out the little pieces from the mesh.

This colander/strainer is great for hanging out so that rinsed foods can drip dry without having to take up counter space, or use another dish from the cupboard to catch excess water. It is a sturdy piece of kitchen equipment - I’ve already inadvertently put it to the test by dropping it a few times & everything is still perfectly intact. Food DOES get stick between that metal band at the top & the mesh, which IS kind of annoying. If you rinse that part out right away, though, you won’t get hardened pieces that are terribly difficult (if not impossible) to remove. I’ll take the sturdiness off the piece & the convenience of being able to hang it across the sink over the inconvenient extra 10-20seconds of rinse time. Overall, my favorite colander/strainer for function & durability.

This strainer has been very handy. It nice for washing veggies and fruits. I have not used it for straining noodles and I don't think I will. The metal basket is tightly woven so I notice that little bits of broccoli have been getting stuck in there. Turning the basket upside down along with the sprayer helps to remove this. I would use a regular strainer for noodles. Other than that this fits nicely on the sink and is very adjustable. I haven't had it long enough to see how it holds up. I also use it to dry some small utensils and other small items to air dry. I am happy with this product.

Works great over the sink for rinsing and cleaning all kinds of vegetables and fruits. Cleans easily and holds a lot! Definitely worth buying.

Good quality. Easy to store in lower cabinet. Love the adjustable arms. My only complaint is after wash/dry - need to flip it around a couple times to get the water out of the side channels before you can put it away.
