Helpful advice !!
I'm writing this to all those out there that are wanting a thermal scope. Before you buy do a lot of research and comparisons. The best peace of advice that I can give is when you search for thermal scopes look closely at the list telling about the scope. Make sure that you buy one that has at least a 60hz processor in it ! Because I made the mistake of not doing enough research and spent $4400.00 on a ATN Thor thermal scope with a 30hz processor and it won't track moving targets or you just slowly scanning around without the screen clouding up with ghost images !!! It sucks !! If you look at the list telling about the scope and it doesn't say anything about the hz. Don't buy until you find out. Go to atn web site and do some research. I hope this helps all of you from getting stuck like I did .

Worth the money
Took a little reading and practice but it was well worth it. This ATN Thor thermal scope is now the best addition to my hunting experience. It works great as advertised. My friend likes it so much he is now buying one also. Looking forward to hog hunting this weekend.

They need a much higher pixel screen
Screen is no where as clear as pictures. Its like viewing through an old black and white TV.

SCAM! Received $3 worth of photo paper instead of 1-10x thermal scope!
Opened the shipping box and found out that I was scammed! Received $3 worth of 4x6 photo paper with the LABEL MATCHING the scope's item number!

ATN THOR 640 2.5x25 50mm objective thermal scope - very good
I've have had the predecessor to this new ATN scope for 3 years. I got a ATN THOR 640 2.5x25 50mm objective thermal scope right when they came out in 2016. It cost over $10,000.00 then. Now the price has dropped to about $3,100.00 and for an updated and more feature packed model. I have never had any problems at all with my 3 year old thermal scope. I have used my 3 year old model for deer and hog hunting regularly and it has never failed me. I find the view to be clear and bright, very adjustable, and it can take regular outdoor use and the shock of a rifle kick without damage or degradation of quality viewing. The reticle holds true when mounting and dismounting the scope on my rifle for cleaning, etc.This new model (the THOR-HD) has all sorts of great features i wish my old model had - like GPS, video and photo capability, smooth zoom, AA battery usage (vs. my 3 x CR123 expensive battery requirements), etc. And all at a much lower price than just 3 years ago. You won't be disappointed with a great thermal sight like this one.
