DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 3 yr old and 18 month old kids. I wish I had gone with something different. They love it, but I got ripped off. One day after Christmas, the markers are already dried out and the side they work on has already started to detach from the easel. It is almost impossible to get it cleaned off completely after writing on it...it always ends up smeared. The worst part of it is the design. It doesn't have anything to lock the legs into place, so just a little bit too much pressure from a kid on one side of it and the whole thing folds up and topples over (it isn't heavy, so no one is going to get hurt, but still...).On the positive side, the chalkboard side is fine (kind of hard to screw that up I suppose), the paper roll at the top is easy to remove and work with, and my kids are having a blast with it, but I assume that would have been the case with any easel that showed up in our living room. In my opinion, there have to be much better easels out there for the price I paid for this one...wish I had bought one of them instead!Add-on: after exactly 1 week of playing with it, it is officially broken! It basically hyper-extended because there is nothing to hold the legs in place. It now will not stand up at all. It is COMPLETELY USELESS!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! It is going back to the store immediately.

Don't waste time or money
After the toy arrived we put batteries in it. It was made so cheap and the battery compartment was flimsy. It would be impossible to get it to work or make a battery connection. Don't waste time or money, big box and hard to carry to ship back.

Hi-lite easel
I was very disappointed for the money it cost. I would have thought that it could have come with erasers and a white board that erased without having to use water. The markers lasted one day and the easel collapses together as there are no rods between the two sides to prevent this from happening. There are others out there in the market that were cheaper but I felt the light would be exciting. I feel I paid the extra for a light bulb only.

Broken
Came broken and from reviews I've read it's just a bad product that tends to come broken. I was excited but ended up disappointed, as were my kids.

Ours works fine
We purchased this easel for our 3 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves this easel. One side is a chalkboard and the other side is a light up (in several different colors) dry erase board. It also has the pull down paper which hasn't been used yet. We too have had one of the original markers dry up due to cap not being put on tight. I have found markers that work better than the ones that came with the easel. Expo neon window markers are what I've used as a replacement and they can be found at Wal-Mart. They are dry erase markers.

The coolest thing is irreplaceable!
My son just received this as a gift, and loved the brightly colored markers. He left the cap off of one, and it's done. I have been searching for replacement markers, but I can't find them! Boo!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
My son received this art easel for christmas. After putting it together we found the springs were missing from the battery compartment so we couldn't use the light up led on the dry erase board. I tried to find a phone number but none exist so I had to email amav enterprises. they haven't gotten back to me. So my son can't use the best part about the art easel. It isn't well made either. It is very cheap looking and the art easel falls over if you push too hard on it. There aren't any brackets holding the two sides together, just the top attaches both sides. Very disappointing product. I can't believe how much this is selling for. I wouldn't pay more than forty dollars for this art easel. It isn't worth any more than that.

AVOID AVIOD COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!!!
We bought this easel for our 2 and half year old daughter as a Christmas present on opening box, we were presented 2 pieces of flimsy plastic which made up the majority of the easel and are so cheaply made they have now broken! Also we had 2 screws drop out of the box, from where about these came from we still don't know. After we assembled the piece of crap, we tried to peel the paper cover of the white board, some parts wouldn't come off at all and on the parts that we were able to remove the cover left marks which we haven't been able to remove so pretty much ruined the white board side of the easel which wouldn't have been a problem if the white board marker pens we got actually worked. 2 days in and the feet of the easel keep on falling out and the top arm sections don't stay into the slots which were designed to keep the easel open and upright so now we are left with a black board which we have to lie on the floor or lean against a wall for our daughter to use!!In summary if I was able to give this easel (I use the term very loosely) no stars I would have but amazon won't allow me. I would avoid this easel like the plague as it's is an absolute abomination and made out of the cheapest materials possible which will be broken within a week if your lucky!!! Where the manufacturer gets off thinking they can actually supply this to a customer and think it's acceptable is beyond me, it just left me disgusted to think we gave the easel to our daughter as a Christmas present as she kept on asking Santa for an easel now that it is broken she thinks she must have been bad!!
