PlatypusBig Zip EVO Hydration System Drink Tube Kit

I purchased two of these expecting to get the product depicted in the product image. The product I received is missing the female part of the quick release system and the bit of tubing connected to it - in other words, it is not a complete replacement for the Evo tube system. The image on the package is the same as the image on the website. Either someone is not assembling this SKU correctly or the marketing/advertising department isn't communicating effectively with the manufacturing department.I posted an image of the packaging showing the same image as on the product page and on the company's website. The missing part is marked with a red line.Addendum: I called Platypus and they cleared up the confusion. That SKU/packaging is used for FOUR different drink tube kits: Big ZIP EVO 1.5, 2.0, and 3.0 as well as Big ZIP EVO Lumbar 2.0. The specific system is indicated with a yellow sticky dot marking which of the four it is for. The Lumbar system does not have the extra parts and that's what this specific item is. I have revisited the product page here and the image now correctly represents the product sold. I am changing my review to five stars because I was able to return the item and Platypus came through for me. I ordered the Big ZIP EVO 2.0 kit directly from Platypus and it contains the extra parts.

The valve on the water feed line jammed in the closed position and wouldn’t budge. The replacement valve worked perfectly!

Playpus no longer offers a Big Zip LP replacement tube but I am glad to say this works as one, though it is a bit longer than the original hose. It's better than nothing, though it is a shame they stopped supporting the original product. Keep in mind you will also want to pick up a magnetic clamp if you are replacing for a pack that uses the magnet holder.

Like many other reviewer have commented, the image depicted is NOT representative of the product delivered or the title of the product. You only get the tube - not the bladder depicted with the 2 liter capacity described in title. I am very disappointed to have been tricked into buying a $25 soda straw.

I have two 3L bladders that I use frequently and have for many years now. I bought this section to run the feed tube semi permanently into my off-road motorcycle helmet. The quick disconnect feels like it will last. I have never had any issues at all with any Platypus product. You get what you pay for, worth every penny. PS no funny tastes from the systems when new or over time. I take care to prop open the bladders and hang dry them between usages. Keeps them clean and dry.

The rubber bite valve deteriorated just after one trip, purchased last month. I had the previous generation hose for 2 years and the rubber is still good other than the valve was starting to leak which is why I purchased this replacement.

2022年10月7日　追記です。下記で、「最初はプラティパスのフルセットの写真が使われており、その後ドリンクチューブキットのみの写真に訂正されていた」と書きましたが、今見たらまたフルセットの写真に戻っていました。これは明らかに購入者を誤解させる不当な表示であり詐欺まがいです。絶対にここで買ってはいけません！！以下、過去の書き込み私が購入した時点では、商品紹介にプラティパスのフルセットの写真を使っており、購入検討者の誤解を招くような表示となっていました。私もフルセットの物が届くものと思い込んで注文してしまい、とどいたチューブのみを見て商品紹介ページを再確認したところ、商品名は確かに「～ドリンクチューブキット」となっていました。よく読めばその通りなのでしょうが、誤解を招く表示であるクレームを入れて返品処理を依頼したところ、快く？返品処理は受け入れられて代金は請求されませんでした。後日この商品ページを再確認したところ、商品写真がチューブキットとのみの物に差し替えられており、クレームを受けて改善していただいたものと思います。返品処理受付やクレーム対応は一応評価しますが、そもそも掲載写真の不手際がただの手違いなのか意図したものなのかはわかりません。
