Goble's Fairy Tale Illustrations is a beautiful collection of art that otherwise can only be found in books of fairy tales that are generally speaking out of print. The late nineteenth century and early twentieth century was a great period for children's book illustrations and Goble is one of the less-well known artists (and deserves to be known better). This is a great gift for a child who has a love of art and of classic fairytales. It is also a great gift for adults.

Good collection. Representative of some of the great artists that have braved this subject. Children of all ages are very discerning critics.

Lots and lots of plates that are of decent quality. Master designer! Not much on Goble or his technique, however.

Beautiful book!

Fairy simple book layout but still enjoyable. Has a small image of each art on the page along with a caption. Why not fill up the whole page with an image? Its like going through a series of gram posts. Seems like anyone could make it and someone didn't spend much time on it, is why I'm not excited

Make sure you understand that there are no stories, only illustrations.Beautiful artwork and book is good quality.
