Much easier to deal with than worrying about the metal rings rusting. Also much easier to remove, whereas I found the metal rings sometimes difficult to remove. Not sure if it’s the rings or the silicone lids, but something in the system is not leak proof. Doesn’t bother me; I’m just more careful when I go to heat the bottle.

I wanted to love these, as metal rings can rust. I hand washed them and never put them in the dishwasher. They slowly started to break along this very thin rim around the top into these tiny little shards. Once it starts, it just continues. I was so thankful our 1 yr old never put them in her mouth. If the these were made thicker or removed that thin ring in their design, I would happily use them and recommend them. But as of right now, these are kind of a hazard.

I bought the nipples that go with, i really love how i can putting on any mason jar with the regular mouth opening. I gotbit for my toddler sense she still wants milk and the other bottles would just be a pain to clean.

So far so good. I use these with the Comotomo brand nipples. I did order Mason Bottle brand but found them way too short for my breastfed baby. The rings work great though! Just wish they sold the tops separate to add on /:

These attach as expected to the Mason Bottle brand glass bottles and do not leak from there. However, they do not fit correctly with the nipples so I recommend using with Boon or Como Tomo brand nipples.

Works fine if you put it on perfectly. Otherwise they leak. It was difficult for my mom to get them tight enough. Ended up using traditional metal rings from canning jars.

Received today and happy with my purchase!Ordered due to original mason jar caps rusting! I had ordered without reading the reviews first, which pretty much all say that they break easy, leaked every where and that they were not compatible with the COMOTOMO nipples. I was bummed as delivery day was next day (today) and had also read that they didn’t refund… thought I had just spent almost $30 for these caps as I had bought to sera, for them not to work out as I hoped!Honest review : They WERE compatible with my COMOTOMO nipples and they DID NOT leak which I am so relieved! I’m currently using the 4 oz mason jars for my newborn. You do have to tighten the cap otherwise it WILL INDEED leak. So as of today, Im honestly happy with my purchase.

My one year old dropped this on our wood floors (which tend to be very forgiving as they don’t have concrete underneath) and it snapped, spilling milk everywhere. Very frustrating considering I bought these to replace the Ball metal canning rings that I’ve been using because they dent and then leak.
