I really like this book. This eyewitness series is good not just for children but adults, too.

This was a present for an 8-year-old who loves aircraft. Boy! Did his eyes ever light up when he saw the cover.

My 8 year old son loves this book!!! He absolutely loves all the pictures and any information he's gotten from it. The jets in particular have been a big topic of conversation during dinner. I'd definitely recommend!

I bought this book as a present for a young boy whose father is a professor of aeronautical engineering. The material is presented very well and covers all but the most recent commercial and military aircraft without a lot of boring detail. It not only describes the aircraft but covers interesting detail such as instrument panels, controls and flight gear.The book was everything I wanted - to expose this young man to the history of aviation.
