I work nights and its perfect for me because it doesn't glow very bright on its own (when the room is dark) but if you tap the top it shines brightly. Love the temp readings and date settings as well. The seller however is another story. Although the clock came in a very timely manner the seller proceeded to email me count it SIX TIMES to tell me to leave POSITIVE feedback for them. I ignored the first five but now I am seriously annoyed. I am of the opinion that if you order something on amazon you should have and use the products at least a month before reviewing otherwise its not really accurate. Well congrats gurgle.
