I put these in my bedroom and paired them with some ivy garlands. I only ever use setting 8 which is simple light (no flashing etc) although I like that it has many settings. I also like the dimmer feature so you can adjust them to your liking. You can adjust the length of each bulb too. The timer feature is great! Now that it gets dark very early, when I come home the lights are already on. It took me awhile to figure out how the timer works lol because you can’t always tell if it’s on or not. Basically, when you set the lights to whatever kind of light you like, press the timer feature and the lights will stay on for 6 hours and will turn off on their own. The next day they will come back on at the same time.

These lights are super cool!! They have multiple functions to light up at different speeds & intervals. They're so pretty I bought a second set to layer over the first set. Love them!

These are adorable. I live in apartment on the second floor, and I hung them on the top of my deck, and along the railing, along with some other lights, and they look so cute. Very easy to put up.

We bought the four color version of these lights. They are quite pretty, though we found all but 1 of the 8 available patterns to be to frantic for our tastes and just kept them on setting 8 (multicolor, no blinking). We quite enjoyed them once up, but they're a bit delicate and must be handled not only carefully but methodically. These lights are strung on thin malleable wire and the ball strands, which are anchored to white hooks that are a blessing and a curse, come twisted neatly on themselves so you can untwist them to extend. It quickly became clear that placing the main strand first and then untwisting the ball strands was the best way to go. I had a vague notion that I would do the same steps in reverse when it came time to take them down but really should have communicated that to my husband first (facepalm). It took a while to gently untangle the pile of lights and retwist the ball strands back together. I tried not to overwork the wires while retwisting.Although these look pretty holiday-specific, they'd probably last longer if set up somewhere permanent to reduce handling. The hooks suggest they'd be pretty easy to attach to a drop ceiling grid or maybe even drapes.With gentle care I'm hoping these will last at least a couple of seasons as I hate the idea of things like this becoming landfill. But apart from that, if they last at least one more season they will have been a decent value. They have a switch on the USB plug so that you can change the program manually but it's a lot easier to do with the remote. We had a spare USB adapter laying around and I packed it away in the box when we took down our decorations today so we wouldn't have to scrounge for it next year.

Very cute for a few months and then it just completely stopped working. Disappointed

Do not buy this light. It looks good but quality is very cheap . It just lasted for a month and died. Cannot return as the return window passed. Complete waste of money.

I am using these as Christmas lights on the inside of a second story bay window. The way they are designed allows you to alter the height of the bottom bulb and the width between each depending on where you place the hooks on the top of each strip of lights. I saw reviews that the packing was an issue and difficult to untangle. I think the manufacturer packed them beautifully. Each strip is coiled and tied with a wire and incredibly easy to unwrap. You will need to wrap them up the same way if you are using seasonally, otherwise I can easily see it being a headache the next time you use it. There are different settings, one is a very fast blink and could effect those susceptible to seizure, but there are also slow fade settings. The only thing that is slightly unusual is that the remote control receiver is in the plug, so you need to point the remote control at the plug which I suppose could be problematic if behind furniture. After they were hung, frankly I was surprised they only cost $20. It's a solid value for the money. I would recommend you don't hesitate in the purchase.
