Super Helpful for My Scared-y Cat!!
Wow! I was so nervous to take my very skiddish cat to the vet for the first time and the Feliway spray was amazing for calming him down! I sprayed the corners of the carrier 15 minutes before putting him in as recommended. He is a VERY vocal cat, but didn't yowl the entire ride to the vet. He was super calm when they took him out of the carrier to examine him. As I was waiting for meds, about 20 minutes into the exam, he became skiddish and a little freaked out. I popped him back in the carrier and he immediately calmed back down. The vet was able to give him a shot and oral meds with no problems. When I got him home he was calm too when I let him out of the carrier. About 20 minutes later it was like the spray wore off and he was a little "hidey" from his experience at the vet. I would DEFINITELY recommend this for anxious kitties!

Worked for my little, old hatefuls
Nothing works on my cats and they hate everything, but this actually helped ease their disdain for a 24 hour drive from Alabama to Wyoming and the 3 hotel visits inbetween. If your cats are also black holes of despair, try this anyway. You might luck out like I did.

spray and let sit for a moment so the alcohol evaporates, and then your cat should like it
I was first introduced to this product at my vet's office and one of my cats, and older guy who has inflammatory bowel disease, really thought it was awesome (they sprayed it on a towel they had put on the exam room table). He licked and rubbed himself all over the towel. Well, now he has some additional problems as a side effect of his medications and condition, and he has to go back and forth to the vet and the ophthalmologist a lot (like a couple of times a week), and that can be pretty stressful on him. I don't want him to be stressed out because he already has hypertension and I don't want to make it worse! So I bought this to use on a towel that I put at the bottom of his pet carries. And I think it is helping. I did not have any luck with the Comfort Zone spray, but this one seems better. I took my cat to the vet for bloodwork and a blood pressure reading yesterday and he did really well! And his blood pressure reading was in the normal range, whereas it had been about twice normal at the emergency vet last week, so I think this is helping keep him calmed down. (I don't think it's the only thing -- his medications are working so he is feeling better -- but I believe in attacking the problem from all sides to get the best result, and this is one more tool!) This does have an alcohol base (probably necessary to dissolve the active ingredient). I wish it didn't, but that may be the only thing that will work for the pheromones in this product. So, ideally you would spray it on something (cat bed, towel, blanket, etc.) and let it sit for a few minutes while the alcohol evaporates. (I tried spraying it near my cat to see his reaction, before I realized the alcohol was a problem, and he didn't like it. But he *did* like a towel that had been sprayed and allowed to sit for a moment.) So anyway, this is working better for my cat than the Comfort Zone spray, and I will be getting a lot of use out of it as we travel back and forth to my cat's vet appointments in the coming weeks. (Hopefully not too many more of those.) I'll also be using it for taking my other cats to the vet for their annual exams and vaccinations.

Feliway works, but my cat doesn’t agree with the spray product.
First, I have used the diffusers for years despite how expensive and bulky they are because it’s such an effective product! However, for some reason my cat doesn’t respond nearly as well to this spray version compared to the diffusers. I would love it if my cat responded as well to the spray because it’s less expensive for amount of product I think, and because I personally don’t like having any type of diffusers because they take up so much space. So, I gave this 3 stars because I feel like this may be less of a flaw in the product and more to do with my cat’s behavior/what he responds to best. It’s not a spray with a lot of alcohol or scent at all and I always spray my cat’s carrier or other areas & wait several minutes before exposing my cat. So, it doesn’t seem to irritate my cat, but he definitely notices the scent (the actual pheromone product; not a fragrance sent) exactly where it’s been sprayed and will go away from that area...or when it comes to crate/traveling it’s never seemed to make any difference in how calm he is. I’ve read mixed reviews on the diffusers whereas I can’t recommend them enough; they were absolute life savers for us and our cat has severe anxiety and other issues that make him a “high maintenance” pet lol, so if a product can help such a difficult case there’s definitely science behind it. I just don’t know why the spray doesn’t emit a fraction of the awesome results the diffusers do. Given I only have one cat and how well the diffusers work, I can’t fairly go below 3 stars for this product because it’s probably worth a try and very well may vary with certain pet & household factors. What works best for one cat might not help my cat? Con: I would 100% recommend giving this product a try if considering it, but the spray is non refundable due to standards on hazardous/liquid parcels. I know this because I tried to send mine back. This very well might be stated in the product description and I just overlooked it, but I do wish it had been stated obviously before checkout because I did think at the time of purchase that it was returnable if it didn’t work.

AMAZING. 100/10
Honestly this product is INCREDIBLE. My cat normally HATES car rides and will meow most of the time and pace occasionally. After using this spray, I’ve noticed a night and day difference in how calm she is. It’s like she has a blanket of comfort and I can see her face relax after spraying it. 100/10 I can’t recommend this enough to anyone looking for a healthy alternative to a relaxing medication for travel or any stressful environment. Great great product.

Feliway calming spray
I like this spray better than the plug ins. Because you can use it anywhere and every where. Does not stain and no smell to humans, seemed to help her to be calmer. A bit pricy tho.

This does work. The trick is you have to spray everything that is at the level of your cat’s rear end. I sprayed the areas where my cat sprayed and then he found the areas that I didn’t spray with Feliway and then he sprayed there! Because of that I find the amount in the bottle too little. I would like this effective product to be more affordable. Thank you though for stopping 80-90% of the marking issue in my domesticated yet still feral tomcat. The spray smells sort of sweet which I really don’t like, so it’s best to hold your breath, spray the areas and leave till it settles.
