Product arrived double boxed and in perfect condition. The sub kicks like a mule and it put a smile on my face from ear to ear. The price reflex the quality of materials used to construct this sub the controls are of excellent quality and you will have more control of your sub with either your receiver or sub your walls will shake and your pictures will fall off your walls so ease back on the volume I have my set up 100hz zero phase and normal volume middle on the dial. That's a basic setup for most applications. If your receiver has a mic setup make sure you run it and that's it enjoy oh and this sub likes the corners of the room.

This is my first time purchasing a SunFire Sub-woofer. I have it paired with 3 SpeakerCraft Aim 7" FIVE Series 2 speakers for the front and 2 Aim 7" THREE Series 2 for the rear and everything is powered by a Yamaha TSR 5790 Receiver. I am very happy with the sound this system produces. I am using a wireless Sub-woofer kit to send sound from receiver to the sub-woofer and it works great too. Easy to install, did it myself.

Easy hookup and sounds amazing

I love the sound quality. But, I purchased this one as a replacement for one that broke. A stiff cable , and moving the speaker occasionally for cleaning, broke off the RCA jack. Manufacturer nor retailer could help me fix it, so I broke down and purchased another.

I bought this sub (used) about 6 months ago to replace a smaller less powerful unit. It's attractive - for a black box - and is built from high quality materials. Sunfire is a well-respected brand in audio, and though this unit is a bit dated it performs well for both movies and music. My only caveat for those who enjoy music is that it can be a bit boomy. It's possible that my room acoustics are the culprit, but it's something to be aware of nonetheless. I compensate by reducing the volume level to about 40% on the unit, and by using the settings on my Denon AVR to reduce the gain to -3 when listening in Stereo mode. Since I enjoy bass when watching movies, I have the setting at +2 and I'm happy. Your mileage may vary. Overall it's a great unit for the price!
