Vortex Outdoor Products 8.0 Black Backpack

This is my 2nd Vortex 8.0. The first one made it through 8 years of daily use and several trips without fail. It finally started showing some wear and tear this last year - a thumb sized hole on the bottom and fabric wear-through where I stuff my thermos in it every day. But for roughly $30, I'd say I got my money's worth; which is why I picked up the exact same model. If it lasts half as long as the first, it's still worth what I paid.Couple things I like about this bag:Large Main Compartment- I keep an Igloo 12-pack Cooler in the bottom of this. At about 8" x 11" x 11", it fits perfectly, and still has room for dinner containers and thermos on top of that.Slim Middle Compartment- perfect size for a 10" tablet and a Grid-It cable organizer.Front Organizer Compartment- A few pockets for odds and ends and a key-ring clip. Handy place to keep change, pens, and a small first aid kit.I'm not sure that by the time I'm ready to replace my new bag, this model will still be around; but I can hope. If they are, I won't hesitate to buy it again. My first one served me well on a daily basis, and I was happy to find the exact model (in black) still available. I'd recommend this to anyone needing a reliable backpack for daily carry.

La primer mochila de esta marca la compre en Walmart hace aproximadamente 8 años(Azul), me salio a muy buen precio considerando la capacidad y la calidad del producto. A la fecha la mochila se ha desgastado solo por el uso más no ha sufrido ninguna descompostura de cierres, salió mucho mejor de lo que esperaba. Trate de conseguir otra en México, pero ya no la encontré, tuve que conseguirla en amazon; Aunque solo había color negro con gris, creí que no se vería tan bien, pero me volví a sorprender, la combinación de color negro, con gris brillante y gris claro se ve super bien. El producto es realmente bueno, a un precio accesible y con gran capacidad, lo recomiendo ampliamente. Juzguen las imágenes. Cuando habrá de otros colores??

I looked in several stores and couldn't find a large backpack like this anywhere. I was hesitant to purchase online but it's the perfect backpack for what I needed it for, which was as a boat bag. It holds several large bottles of sunscreen, 3 large rolled up beach towels and host of other small, random items. The quality is great, you can tell this will hold up for years.

These things last for a long time through all kinds of loads and abuse. I got this as a back up for when the one I currently have finally gives up the ghost. But it's only starting to show signs of hard wear after four years of constant use/abuse. I like the inner compartmentalization layout as well.

Second one I bought first one lasted so long that I thought I would buy another This one only lasted 2 years however I am rough on these bags go everywhere with me.

Like this backpack very much. Last one was falling apart after years of daily use at work....

Had my last backpack for almost 10 years. This thing is great. Roomy, comfortable. Really happy with it. Only downside to me is there are no small pockets that are accessible from outside the bag. You have to open the bag to access the smaller things. I am probably just being picky. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars. I would recommend & most likely buy again.

I love this bag! It is big and comfortable to carry. I travel and this is my primary luggage for carry on. It has three primary compartments to separate clothes, shoes and small items.
