BT upgraded my line from copper to fibre to premises. I didn't want cable attached on outside of building. Had a few right angles to negotiate with cable route as I wanted router placed in bedroom/office upstairs. so installing fibre optic cable was going to be difficult to install internally. Purchased this Ethernet cable instead. I'm pleased I did! ripped out all old copper cable been in more than 25 years. Replaced with this Ethernet cable from BT installed optic point, to hub upstairs. Took connection reading when hub was directly plugged into main optic point, then another when I'd finished installation. Loss of speed due to length of Ethernet cable is acceptable. RJ45 connections/cable quality is great. it's also flat making it easier to hide. Massive difference with this Ethernet cable compared to old copper wire installation. Lightening speed now. Great wi fi signal in garden and throughout building. No hesitation in recommending this cable. one bit advice, measure/check length required first keep it short as possible for faster speed. I needed 20 metres

Bought this Ethernet cable to run directly from my router to my computer, it’s a well made cable and works perfectly for my needs

I initially got this because I was looking for a high speed flat weather resistant ethernet cable because I have an ethernet run going to the attic and I had the cable going through the skylight window because I didn't want to drill a hole in the ceiling. The old cable was a thicker and round and as a result the window would not close BUT luckily there is a lock on the inside and I can lock the window when it is only open like 1CM and the gap was not even big enough for someone to slip something in because of the angles in the window so I was fine with that. Around 5 months ago I got ultra fast gigabit broadband for the first time and was after fast cables and came across this and thought I would try it because of the marketing involving the cable being flat and relatively thin and being able to bend around corners as a result. Now I can FULLY close the skylight with this cable and not only that it is super fast although I cannot comment if the cable actually is Cat8 or not because Cat8 is a little overkill for 1GBps data speeds and I only got this because firstly it was relatively cheap and secondly the good reviews and quality and thirdly I could keep it as future proofing in case I get faster broadband before retiring the cables because I ended up getting several in various lengths

Cable is good and fast. However, for a 50m cable, there were not enough clips. Needed twice as many clips to properly secure this, so I had to buy more.

Great service, on time just as it said on the packet good price for solid cable sweet ethernet. White of course. 3 metre any longer risk waffle.

Perfect for what i needed it for. Running internet up stairs and the flat cable it so much easier to work with and hide against skirting boards.

After having no internet for two weeks, I phoned our provider, after answering a million questions and advising us to do this and that etc, we were getting nowhere, then my husband had a brainwave, and asked this lady on the other end of the phone, could we try an Ethernet to attach it from the internet to the T.V. and the lady said ...........yes of course, and you will be reconnected!!!! after wasting everyone's time. So, after it was connected it worked brilliantly and has done ever since which was over a week ago. So, people, you know how to fix your failed connection, simple. Easy to fix up, very well made and Amazon have different sizes of wire. Excellent quality all round. 10/10.
