This thing sat in my cupboard for 6 months before I finally had time to install it. Man am I KICKING MYSELF for waiting this long! Do yourself a favor, if your thinking about it, JUST DO IT. For around 160 bucks (price at time of my purchase) you get a beautifully refined shifter!Pair this with the Accelatec Pedal Spacer and you can move your seating position back and actually use the arm rest (face lift owners know what I am talking about) this shifter is shorter than stock and puts the shifter even with the height of the arm rest, or just below it, you rest your elbow on the armrest and can literally flick the car through the gears just using your fingers, feels very relaxed and natural.I was going to pair this with a Needless Torque Calibrations bushing for forward throws, as the stock on as a lot of play, but somehow this arm ELIMINATES THAT PLAY. It just goes THUNK into gear, extremely satisfying every time I shift.The shifter also feels heavier and tighter than the original (for some thats good, but might not be for everyone) I recommend getting some Lucas Oil White Lithium grease and making sure you SLATHER the ball and any other moving parts, it needs all the help it can get.Also worth noting, its not a big deal but the ball part of the shifter is NOT metal like the picture, it is white Delrin, but its extremely durable.Dont follow the CJ Pony Parts video for the Hurst shifter, that method DOES NOT WORK. You need to pull the console to have plenty of access to the spring mechanism and all the clips. Trust me, save yourself the frustration and cut knuckles, cuz even after all that, I still had to pull the console. Which took like....5 minutes...All in all, I am EXTREMELY SATISFIED with this, I am leaving it at 30% reduction as it feels perfect and I will be recommending this to all my friends, heck, Ill even install it for them! lol.
