So I knew this item is the best thing for holding your rubber playmats during MTG tournaments and local FNM events at your local game store because I own one of these previously from an event I won as the "door prize" (it included a playmat inside it). That is the reason why I recommend others to buy playmat tubes from Monster Protectors. They are truly amazing!! No rollover from the table, and easy slip in & out your playmat. The colored cap of your choice seals it nice and firm. Best value prices for this are by Amazon. Sweet deal! 10/10

My son plays Pokemon TCG and quickly acquired a few play-mats. We did do rolling and just storing in his backpack for a while, but started noticing premature wear around the edges due to being jostled around in the bag. These protectors are super useful and necessary if you use a play-mat regularly, but don't want to drop a ton of $$ on protectors quite yet.My kids managed to crack the bottom on one case, but I think that was purely due to excessive force, not due to the durability of the product.

I went with my boyfriend to a Magic the Gathering tournament and saw that some of the people had these playmat tubes and thought my boyfriend would really like it because he was just using a rubber band and I noticed that it was starting to get an indent and was starting to roll up and that soon the picture would probably start to pull away from the bottom mat. Since he has gotten this mat protector, he always keeps his playmat in it when not in use. I have noticed the indent on the mat has gone away and the mat does not roll up at the edges when he first lays it out. This has really made a difference in the care of his mat and seems to really hold it's seal well so nothing gets into it. If anything should ever happen to the mat protector, I will definitely be getting him another one here!!

I've seen several other reviews for these tubes that claim the bottom section fell out after just one or two uses. Maybe I got lucky, but out of the twelve Monster-brand tubes I've purchased, all of them have been solid and sturdy. The color selection is nice, and the shape is great for keeping the tube from rolling off of flat surfaces. They're definitely one of the cheaper options for playmat storage, but they're pretty good at doing what they do.

This playmat tube is exactly what I was looking for. My playmat's got a break in the foam and I'm afraid it might break. Except now. The tube will extend the life of my playmat for goodness knows how long.

I have a few of these and they have never let me down.Oddly when I ordered this one it was labeled green, but was actually purple.

New home for my Grand Prix Tarmogoyf playmat! A must have for that expensive Magic addiction. Whats 10 more dollars, honestly.
