StarTechDeals 200 Clear CPP Plastic DVD Sleeves with Flap for 14mm DVD Box Artwork & Disc 80 Micron

I was starting to run out of space for my DVD collection, and then I found these fabulous plastic sleeves. They are just the right size if you don't mind creasing the back edge of the cover artwork(I don't). I had about 130 DVDs, and was literally out of space in my small apartment. I bought these plastic sleeves, and now I can fit 110 DVDs into the same space that once held only 30. (I keep the special boxed DVDs in another small area.) These are really fabulous. The only problem is that if not handled carefully, the side seams may separate on some of them. So you can't treat them roughly. I found a solution: I bought some plastic washi tape and sealed the top edges of the seams that opened, and voila! They hold up very well. You could even tape the sleeves ahead of time to prevent any separation, using one color for each genre, etc. What a great idea! I have my DVDs in a filing system and it is actually much easier to find what I want when I want it, and in a much smaller space. Absolutely LOVE these, and will definitely buy more as my DVD collectoin grows! (Now I just need to find a perfect file-box/tray to keep them in. for now, I have them in small boxes -- but it works! This picture shows 110 DVDs-- really, in the space of 30! These DO NOT INCLUDE a separate disc sleeve. If you need a separate sleeve, you can just cut one of the sleeves in half--very easy! This is what I have done for movies with multiple discs. Otherwise, I just slip the disc inside the artwork, and this has worked out just fine.

I am so pleased with this storage solution for our DVDs! This basket holds about 100 DVDs (actually more as I double packaged series/sequals) clearing up 4-5 shelves. The fact that I could keep the entire cover sheet intact was important to me and they fit perfectly. I also like that they are individually packaged (as opposed to a binder or multiple movies in one sleeve) so we can easily sort or take a handful in the car. The clear envelopes are pretty thick, but I anticipate the side seams will rip fairly easily. I only tore one while packaging these but I bought washi tape as another reviewer suggested and just threw it in the box to have on hand if the top edges need reinforced. I went ahead and bought sleeves to hold the actual disc inside of the envelope.

I like using these for my movie collection because they're rugged and look great. Thrifting movies becomes much easier when you aren't necessarily worried about the black, plastic cases. They are crystal clear, also. Unfortunately, about 1 out of 20 sleeves tears when used. All in all, I've used these in bulk for some time and would recommend them to others.+

Nice bags take up about 1/3-1/4 the width of a DVD case depending on thickness of insert and number of discs. It looks elegant and is a nice way to renew your collection that also makes space. I transferred about 100 and that reduced about "1 bin" of titles to a small handheld bin, see pic. I tried a few Blu Ray and PS3 games that I've got newer ports of in as well. The inserts shift around more with Blu Ray discs so I suggest getting something made for Blu Ray if you're doing a lot of them. I also suggest woven inserts to secure the discs themselves within the bags.

We have hundreds and hundreds of DVD’s. I was so tired of looking at them. We had so many it was impossible to keep them organized and it took forever to find the one we are looking for. This is about 250 DVD’s in one little box! Pros - They have a little flap that will fold in to keep it closed. The most I’ve gotten into one envelope is 4 DVD’s. They very much serve the purpose of space saving. Cons - from time to time they’ve split a little bit on the sides, but I was going fast.

Both orders were fufilled through Amazon Prime♥ Let me start by saying, I organized 400 DVDs from a giant, tall shelf down to one large drawer! I am extremely pleased with the space saving and organization I obtained using these. I also, purchased alphabetic file guides, to further organize, and double sided DVD protector sleeves to slide in these. My first order was overall great! It came from a company called 1 Stop Shop.👍 (Only complaint would be the sides of a few did tear apart slightly on the top of the seam. However, they did not continue to tear down the side. Just a slight split at the top.) These cases stay closed well and are of much sturdier plastic than the second set. Despite the small split, I still give these ones 4 (or more) stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The second set was from StarTechDeals👎... DISAPPOINTED, to say the least.. I would not buy these while they are being sold by this company again. The moment I had gotten them out of the package, I could tell the difference. Thin, flimsy and do not stay closed. I would give them 2 stars as they can serve the purpose intended. There are just MUCH better quality ones elsewhere. ⭐⭐ I am going to purchase Velcro sticky dots to keep these closed and just give them a try. I will purchase these again, but only after the product is available by a different company. I will update after I try another shipment and after I see how these all hold up long term:)

These were very useful for reducing the space taken by my DVDs. I have over 200 and I used all of these to reduce the space taken from 4 36 in bookshelves with the DVD in the cases down to being able to store them in 4 6x9in bins I got at Target. They hold up and don't tear easily. I did tear one at the seam a little but I made the mistake of pulling on one of the open ends of the sleeve while the inserts and the disc was in the sleeve. As long as you're a little cautious with how you handle these, you'll be fine. I folded the center spine of the insert inward as that makes it fit easier into the sleeve. For movies that had two discs, if there was a separate insert inside the DVD case, such as a booklet or chapter notes, I used that to separate the discs. Otherwise, I used a simple paper sleeve to put the disc in first before inserting in the sleeve to reduce the chance of scratching. These seem to be good value for the cost, but I do wish they were sold in packs of either 50 or 100. I just don't need another 200.

Love these for storing stamps and dies. Clear, easy to use. I have had no issues with scratches even taking them in and out. Nice thickness and quality. I will purchase them again for all my stamps and dies.
