Chan Pui Mui Preserved Plum

Very fresh and tasty. My preference is the salty dried Chan pui moi but could not find them in the same packaging and quantity.

I was ordering these regularly and enjoying them immensely until I saw several articles about a recall. The recall said that chan pui mui was not approved my the FDA and contains extremely high levels of lead. They didn't list the brand but chan pui mui as a whole was apparently recalled along with several other types of preserved plum. So mad and disappointed😢

I could not find these at my local Asian market, so I was thrilled to find these on Amazon. It's been one my husband and my favorite treats for years. My niece stated it costs more at a local market near her, so I sent her the link to this product.

The first couple, wrapped the way I remembered, were coated in sugar actually hurt my teeth! I rinsed off the coating of crystallized sugar, and it was perfect! I think getting them in Hawaii and California in the past, they were "fresher" (they are preserved). Will buy again, now that I know the "trick".

Really great value and upgraded packaging keeps the product fresh.

I thought these were preserved, salted, plums. They are not! I don't like the taste or the texture. I wish I could return them.

I took a chance on these and I am not disappointed. I would buy them again.
