Intex Deluxe Pool Ladder with Removable Steps for 42in & 36in Depth Pools

I'm about 3 days into the whole Intex world and gotta say... these guys have it down! Their polls are easy to assemble and the ladder was pretty easy. The instructions aren't as bad as Ikea instructions but not as great as some higher end products I've used. The instruction book is small and as I get older it's harder for me to see small print/pictures. BUT it's easy to install. You almost need no tools (you will need a screw driver and a driver set or plyers to hold the nut). Just easy. For us, it's a bit tall as we have the 10' x 30" Intex Prism, but we wanted a ladder we could "grow" into. As we plan to upgrade to a larger pool next year (we got bit by the Intex bug!). Just a great ladder. I like how it lets you remove the outter stairs and store them. This way I don't have to keep removing the ladder. We put a mat down inside to help protect the liner of course. But hopefully this lasts. We'll get used to climbing so high to get over a 30" wall, but it is what it is. We knew that going in and it's fine.

I bought this ladder for a Funsicle 15’ x 36” pool and it’s exactly what I needed. It was easy to assemble and even comes with extra hardware. I really like the removable steps. It’s a GREAT safety feature especially if you have a pool in a yard without a secure fence or have small children. I do have a secure tall fence, but I still feel better being able to remove the steps so easily when I’m not using the pool.

We have a 30" pool for a 4-year-old. The ladder is a little overkill for this pool, but we hope to get deeper pools as he grows. It looks like it will be a while (if ever) before we outgrow it. I love the safety feature which allows you to remove the outside ladder to make it more difficult for a child to access the pool. It's not something to rely on (4-year-olds are wily creatures), but it helps. The instructions were a bit vague, the pictures are tiny, so we had a number of starts, take apart moments, and redoes. In the end, the video on this page and the pictures really helped us put together the beast. Our 4-year-old is 42" tall and can get in and out fairly easily. A smaller child would find it challenging.

This is great for a 18 foot 42 inch bladder pool. Love the fact that i can take off the step so my kids can't get in when it when we are not around. The protective peice that hooks on the inside of the ladder that is supposed to keep the ladder from hurt the pool is garbage...it doesn't stay on and we just took it off and didn't use it. but the ledge it has is a real winner with our kids. they love jumping off it. I would buy this again We have been so happy with it. it is worth spending the extra money to get this one and not the one the pool comes with

The ladder is well constructed but there are a number of safety issues that need to be addressed. #1. The unit wobbles the closer to the top you get. The legs need to be spread out further for greater stability especially for adults. #2. The actual steps are a bit narrow for adults and hurts their feet standing on them. They need to be wider to support the weight. #3. It is very difficult to turn around at the top of the ladder and place your feet on the top step on the opposite side. The steepness of the steps makes accessing the opposite step almost impossible especially when it wobbles. #4. A platform connecting the 2 top steps may help but stability is still a big issue. #5. We quit using the ladder after one use due the 4 issues listed above.

First, let me say that I have put a lot of things together lately. The directions with this ladder are outstanding! Everything is packaged and labeled so well!! Very refreshing and such a rare thing! Makes me wish I had bought an intel pool too. If ours breaks, I would not hesitate to order from this company! I am very happy with the ladder itself too. We have a 2 year old and I was very worried with having a pool as he is a climber. He has tried and tried to get in our pool and can’t do it with this safety ladder. In addition we also installed door chimes to notify us if he sneaks outside. I’m very happy with this ladder and have had no issues with it after two months of everyday use.

I read all the reviews I could find for this ladder. The one that came with my pool was rusting badly and they're not great quality, so I figured this had to be an improvement. Wrong! It was pretty easy to put together except the platform (I had a hard time pushing the poles through the holes so my son in law had to come over and gorilla them). I have a 42" pool and this could be a bit shorter. The steps are a bit wider and the ladder felt more sturdy overall - at least while testing it in the living room. Maiden voyage - got to the top and because the handles are so high I HAD to step on the platform and stand up straighter than I felt comfortable with - just to get through. The platform area between handles is too narrow and the platform is too deep to step over onto the first step in the pool. The ladder was wobbling (even though it's on firm ground) so the stability and ease I'd hoped just for wasn't there. Update: Had a much lighter friend use the ladder this week. She's in great shape so figured she'd do fine, but she also felt unsafe at the top of the ladder. Wish I'd kept my rusty, cheesy one that came with the pool! UPDATE: It hasn't even been a year and it's got some major rust. I mean chunks falling off. I have ordered the original ladder that comes with all pools and would NEVER recommend this one to anyone.

Estoy satisfecho con esta escalera para piscina. El montaje fue sencillo y una vez instalada se siente estable y segura para entrar y salir del agua. Just what I needed. Very sturdy. Even the kids in neighbourhood like coming over to use the pool, going up and the ladder with no trouble and it is safe.

Echelle de bonne qualité facile a monter L’echelle se module pour ne pas avoir accès a la piscine (photo jointes) pour le prix 39 euros très correct. Une petite plate forme en haut de l’échelle aurait été appréciable. Mais sinon rien a redire après plus d’une semaine d’utilisation.
