I had to get this for a vein procedure in one leg. My doctor recommended this brand and I am so glad he did. I was expecting a much heavier compression garment and this feels just a little bit more firm than pantyhose. The other thing about these is the size. I am not a small person. And I am 5'10" tall so finding something "off the shelf" was close to impossible. Normally, thigh high stockings roll down to my knees within the first few hours of wearing them. These stay up from the minute you put them on until you take them off....and for me that is 16 hours a day that I am wearing them. I wash them out every night with soap and they are dry by the next morning. They may seem a little pricey, but if you buy them from a specialty shop, they can be $ 15 - $ 20 more....at least they are in Atlanta. You have to get several leg measurements before buying them to ensure they fit well. Was advised also that they would be beneficial to wear on long flights over 2 -3 hours and they are comfortable to wear for flying.

Mu "go to' stocking since I was told I needed them many years ago now. Excellent in every way. Long lasting and well worth the cost.

Everything is great about Sigvaris 780 Black Sheers, if you like sheer black.This is just a note for my own future reference, I prefer the look of opaque black. The Sigvaris Soft Opaque 840 black feel essentially the same, but are darker and of course, more opaque, the perfect counterpart depending on what look you are going for.

Did Not Stay Up After 3 or 4 Times.

Using them for Lymph Edema.They are more comfortable than I thought they would be.Bought first pair from Doc. He recommended them.

I've worn Sigvaris for years but noticed one pair was running shorter & slide down. This pair I love, my favorite new ones! Just had knee replacement surgery plus a 1st surgery same knee this year so right fit & support imperative!

I have tried so many brands of compression hose and found I love Sigvaris! The Eversheer are great for summer and their Soft Opaque which are more like tights are great for winter warmth. The silicone band at the thigh is so comfortable and holds the hose up nicely. They don't side down during the day and stay in place! I have tried the toeless thigh highs but had trouble with the toe band rolling up on my foot all the time. I really prefer this brand to others as being superior in comfort and support for a 15-20mmHg hose.

Es la primera marca que sí se quedan perfectamente sin bajarse. Espero que Amazon disponga de más tallas largas y varios colores.
