Oregon 280RNDD009 .050" Gauge 3/8" Pitch 28" Power Match Bar , White

March 2022 I bought a 28 inch Oregon bar & chain # 72LPX092G power match chain & bar from amazon I used it on some ash 36 inch diameter logs that were dry for over a year & a half ...all the reviews said the bar will not work....WELL THERE WRONG....I had to see for my self the saw performed excellent no lag no bog down I turned up the oiler to max this was a standard chain not a skip tooth it cut like butter both cross grain & with the grain ie. long chips stringers the bar is a little nose heavy but manageable as the weight keeps the bar engaged in the wood good quality chain & bar I also bought a 36 inch Oregon matched bar & chain from amazon the saw had the power using a skip tooth chain but the bar is very nose heavy I only used it for 8 cuts just to cut through the log ...the saw had the power to drive the chain the skip tooth chain made the deference ask your self how many 36inch dia. logs do you have to cut if only a few buy the 100.00 dollar chain & bar in stead of a 1000.00 saw set up...very happy I had to do it & see for my self ...good luck from a 75 year old retired machinist,,,,

I finally had to replace the original bar on my P-51 Pioneer I bought in early 1981. I chose to go with the Oregon since that was the original, I only had to replace the roller noise and dress it. I am sure it will last a long time for me as well. It speaks well for good maintenance, also.

Bought for a holzfforma 395xp, it's doing its job quite well and I wouldn't expect any less from Oregon.

Sturdy very well built and fit perfect on my Chinese imitation saw...... Still runs like a dream

Oregon quality at a great price!

The bar itself is great, however, it will not fit on my Husqvarna 455 Rancher. I had read reviews by some arborist that claimed this bar would fit my saw with a 28” Oregon chain and it does not. Now I’m stuck with a new bar and two chains because I missed the return window by literally a couple of days.

Works great on a 55 Rancher with a skip tooth chain...

Firs as I should on the 272 xp Husqvarna.

It’s what you would expect from an Oregon bar. Excellent quality. It fit my 372xpg perfectly. The sprocket was already greased and moves smoothly. I’m running an Oregon 72JGX093 full skip “powercut” chain and it leaves me about an inch of adjustment. I might recommend a 92dl chain instead to get a little more room for adjustment but 93dl does work.
