006 "Any Wound" Dressing - Box of 10 Enluxtra 6"x6" Self-Adaptive Super Absorbent Dressings for Wounds with Any Exudate Level

My father is 87 yo w/metastatic spindle-cell melanoma - it metastasized in an axillary lymph node. After almost 40 days of intense radiation in the axillae area, the burned region was nothing less than traumatizing. Although Pop is being seen by a renown oncologist, their office was unable to provide adequate cover, dressing or recommendations for this traumatic burn wound.I began to search for burn-care dressings (I am a nurse) and found this product. Yes, they are expensive. Yes, they work! Pop's axillae region was at least 6x6 and blistered. There was no skin. The erythema was shocking. I used aseptic technique and cut/placed one of these dressings on Wednesday. Today, I removed it and rinsed the wound w/ sterile water and was AMAZED. The anterior and posterior of the wound area had viable skin. The medial axillae area had become pink - instead of blood red and while there was some blistering in the very center, it had decreased by 50% - IN THREE DAYS! The second dressing required only a 3x6 (instead of a 6x6) and I will leave this in place until at least Tuesday.Keep it dry. The product is made to wick away the exudation of the wound, allowing it to heal. Tape it carefully around the edges to hold it in place. Considering the burn is in the "armpit" the dressing is most valuable in providing a cushion between the upper arm and the armpit - eliminating skin-to-skin contact.I am very pleased with this product.

Guess I didn't read ALL in the info...The tape I have been using, Medical tape, doesn't not adhere to this.. I'm out big bucks!!

Don’t get wounds, don’t procrastinate, take care of the situation and heal them as quickly as possible, you don’t want to mess around with wounds. Get rid of all your other wound care dressings and buy these. T-9 T-10 paraplegic with several non healing pressure ulcers, pretty much really bad wounds. Since switching to these dressings I have a renewed hope that these wounds might actually heal. Both my home care nurse and myself are blown away by what these dressings have done. Been using them for about a month. Truly mind blowing. If you have wounds of any kind I highly recommend you use these. I have literally tried every dressing and combination of dressings, honey, silver etc. and you are only wasting time and money. Unless those applications are working for you. For my wounds those things weren’t helping and the situation was becoming dire. I’m not a Dr. but I do have very bad wounds and the bottom line is that they work. Watch the videos on their site and listen to the webinars. Covered by Medicare as well.

Worked very well; takes itching and burning away, cleans the wounds, does not stick to the wounds, and needs to be changed only each 3-4 days. I should have bought smaller size as well, but I cut this ones in smaller pieces, and it worked as well.If you check the price for similar products in the pharmacy, they cost the same or more, but they are not even close in quality.If someone has an allergy to the adhesives and can't use regular band aids, this product is a life saver.

This stuff, used with silverlon saved my husband's leg. Went completely against wound care center advice and we are now seeing massive progress in diabetic venous leg wound. Pricey but worth every penny! It keeps the silverlon moist, but still absorbs all the goo. I also use terasil around the edges to keep the wound from spreading. These 3 things have made more progress in 2 months than the wound care center "protocol" did in over a year!!
