This worked for me
When I was diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis I was online fast to find relief. This product had very mixed reviews but I decided that I would throw caution to the wind and give it a whirl. It's a comfortable black sock that comes just below your knee. It must be breathable material because my foot never gets hot in the middle of the night like other socks cause. There's a velcro piece around the top (that falls below your knee) to keep the sock up high. It's not tight and is comfortable. There's a velcro piece in front that loops around to secure itself to the velcro piece that comes up from your toe part of the sock. This gently lifts up your toes and thus stretching that muscle. I put it on easily and thought, well here goes nothing. I slept through the night with zero discomfort. My toes did not tingle. I put my foot on the floor and no pain - glorious!!! I have been icing and stretching my foot during the day and have not taken any ibuprofen. My chiropractor highly recommended this sock and so thankful he did.

XL night sock
Sock (XL) is large enough for me and fits well. Can be readily adjusted to provide desired tension on foot. Material is comfortable, but is easily damaged if it comes in contact with the velcro of the strap.

Cozy on a cold winter night
I have plantar faciitis and was having trouble sleeping with the traditional night splint on my foot. My PT suggested the sock type of brace might be more comfortable.I purchased a pair, since I have it in both feet, (I hadn't realized that my custom insoles were only good for about 3 years so the plantar fasciitis crept up on me).I wore them last night. As I was putting them on, I started feeling warm. They reminded me of the wool knee socks I wore as a young girl. I wrapped the velcro around at the top and pulled the tab through the slot attached to the center front and crawled into bed.I remember waking up once to turn the AC down a notch. In the morning, my feet felt fine, but I was sleepy. I use a FitBit to monitor my feet. I had an uneven 4 hours out of 7 hours in bed. It was clearly, a not so successful night's sleep. In short, they work. Will I wear them again? Maybe, on an incredibly cold night when the furnace is out. If you like cozy, these might work for you.And on a side note, they come sized, and the small was right for me. They also have an actual knitted in heel, which makes the fit quite good. Too bad they are this heavy knitted fabric. A finer compression knit stocking would be far more successful.

Finally some relief! Read my review for a good tip.
After a year of doing everything for a heel spur/plantar fasciitis, I found this. Now, some things to know. Yes, the sock can stretch out a bit, but you can wash/dry it. But the size of the sock really doesn't matter. My concern was the band at the top sliding down, but it doesn't. You need to have it on correctly with proper tension stemming from the toes, and it won't slide at all. You do you need to keep it too tight at top. There is one design flaw which I fixed by simply attaching the Velcro part that extends to the toes. It's a flaw because if you wear extended period time it pulls too hard on the toe itself, making the the toenail area very sore, unbearable for me.So, just wrap the strap around underneath the transverse arch, which gives support from under and doesn't pull so hard on just the toes. It's hard to believe this was just a few dollars away, and made all the difference. You may have to experiment a bit, but it's worth it.

Didn't work that well for me
These were actually a pretty good fit for me. I wear a size 8.5 to 9 men's shoe. They seem well made and they were a much better price than many others I saw. I didn't find them uncomfortable and I slept well while wearing them. I used them every night for about 30 days.My two stars is because they just did not help me. Since then I've been to see a podiatrist and he provided me with some arch supports and taught me some stretches. I also purchased a pair of Hoka Gaviota 3s and have worn them almost exclusively for the past two months. I've also begun some cross fit training and do even more stretching with that. Stretching my calves, my hamstrings and my hip flexors has made a huge difference. Because of the later I hardly have any heel pain these days. The Stretch Night Sock, not so much.

Does what it should and comfy to sleep with
Completely practical and user friendly. I had purchased a boot to resolve the foot pain and plantar fasciitis ailment. The boot was bulky, impractical to travel with, and most importantly, so uncomfortable to sleep with. This sock, however, is plenty comfy, keeping the foot gently stretched out as it should be whilst sleeping, in order to promote greater healing during sleep. I highly recommend. While I’ve only had it now for a few weeks, it has been working to relieve daily pain and ultimately restore health.

Dissapointed
The sock is always sliding down my calf, I had bought the correct size per the sizing info. I have thin long legs and this has been a real disappointment. I have already ordered 2 other choices. I have experienced this before and been thru injections, sleeping in “ space like boots for months”, giving up my treadmill walking for 1 yr but my old remedy devices are worn out thus thought I’d try this. Would not recommend.
