Q: does it work with bc-1000plus and win 8?

We have never yet been able to use the Tanita Plus software that we purchased. It did install correctly onn Windows 8. However, they had no way to transfer the 20,000 records from their previous software to their new product. When I spoke at length with tech support, I was given a method of importing one record at a time which required typing in each person before importing. We could not afford to pay someone to input 20,000 records this way. Also, the software is not networkable, so they want us to buy a copy for each of the scales we are using, and remember which scale a person used when back for a second time. I feel the company is quite irresponsible, and basically pulled a bait & switch on us with their advertising campaign. I would never recommend them to anyone. Unfortunately, we have 6 of their BF-350 Body Comp Scales and have not been able to upgrade the software to use with Windows 8. I do not know if it will work with a bc-1000 but if you have previous data that you want to keep, do NOT buy this product.
