TALON Grips for Ruger LCP

These little grips are amazing! The Ruger LCP is a very small .380 pistol, mostly used for concealed carry. The Ruger LCP can be a somewhat "jumpy" for some shooters, because of the compact size. I have medium to large size hands, so sometimes I have a hard time getting a solid, firm grip on my LCP. I ordered the Talon grips, not sure what to expect, but the price wasn't bad and I needed to improve my grip on the pistol. I was pleasantly suprised. The grips are very easy to install and improve your grip on the pistol immensely. Whether you want grip for pulling out of a holster, or improved grip when shooting (or both!) these grips will help. I've had them for about 6 months now and they have held up well and still have great grip to them. Very pleased with this purchase. The grip makes a world of difference. I personally prefer a granulate texture vs rubber, so that is what I ordered. It is like night and day when trying to hold the LCP. When you have big hands like me, you know it can be a bit difficult to keep a good grip on, especially if your hands get clammy. The LCP without the grip is good about leaving a sore spot on my hand after a round at the range due to how I am holding it, however with the talon grip, it makes getting a good grip on the LCP way better, which means I am not killing my hands to fire it.

Fits like a charm. My first Talon grip was for my Glock 26 which I learned about from Hickok45 on YouTube. I plan to get one for all of my firearms sooner or later because I can definitely feel the difference in my grip. The LCP isn't the most comfortable grip as it is but this product does make a difference. This is the rubber textured and not the sand paper textured grip. Installation is easy and forgiving if you apply it wrong in the first attempt.

Such a tiny plastic gun you need this! Easy to install with zero issues, took less than 10 minutes. Works with Crimson Trace laser.

Adheres well, easy to apply. Excellent grip. Only downside is the granulate is EXTREMELY rough/aggressive. It's about the same as 60-80 grit sandpaper. Very comfortable for shooting and holding, but makes extraction from a pocket/holster very difficult. I actually had to smooth mine out some using a piece of steel on the grip to make it more manageable.

I cannot give a long term review, as I just received/installed this grip. However, first impressions are very good! This grip tape is precision cut and fit perfectly! It was a bear to install, but I also have problems installing phone screen protectors, so I wasn't surprised. Once it was on though, it is a huge improvement over the stock LCP grip. Makes this small gun much more confidence inspiring, and just seriously less slippery. I will update after I have brought it to the range/some time has passed.

Bought the sand paper grips just to change it up from my normal rubber go to grips on my other pew pews. Feel is amazing and secure.

These looked great, and following the directions resulted in a flawless installation. Unfortunately it made concealed carry unbearable. The skateboard tape-type texture grabbed onto any shirt I was wearing over it worse than Velcro, making it impossible to keep discreet as I had to constantly adjust my shirt. Another pleasant feature is that it would actually tear out any hair in the belly area when I carried in the front with an IWB holster. So, $20 wasted after 2 days of use, and now get to try to rub adhesive off.
