It's okay, but nothing special.
I'm not in possession of a very distinguished palate for tea, but I've gotten my taste buds around a bit. This is an appreciably simple black, with no spices, complex flavors or gimmicks. That being said, I was comparing this to a darjeeling from Lupicia when I first gave it a try, which is a similarly uncomplicated black. This is alright, but lacks the 'Wow!' factor that first got me interested in Tea Forte products. This is 'good' tea in the context that it tastes much better than what you'd find on the floor of a supermarket. It's not 'great' tea in that it lacks the quality of what you'd find in a tea store.I'll probably go try something else when I exhaust my supply.

Cheap tea presented as a high quality one
This tea is very expensive and has a lot of labels on how organic and pure it is. And it arrives in plastic (!!!!) bag which is inserted in the tin box. This is ridiculous. Anybody familiar with expensive teas will know that this is NOT a proper way to package tea. The labels on the tin box were applied in a very untidy manner. I am almost sure that this is some kind of bogus product which tries to pretend to be good. The tea itself contained sticks and green (means not dried) leaves. Very poor taste as well. Extremely disappointed with this product.

Great tea in a convenient container
I bought this tea and the Kati brewing system because I was trying to cut down on the amount of coffee I drink. It is very rich and flavourful. Be careful not to overbrew it as it will become bitter if left for too long, but properly steeped it is a delicious and fragrant cup of tea! The packing was a little ridiculous, it arrived in a bok large enough to hold a half dozen canisters, I could barely find it under all the styrofoam peanuts!

Absolutely wonderful Darjeeling tea
Wonderful, aromatic Darjeeling tea that i have almost every day. I purchased Tea Forte samplers and found the different flavors I enjoy and then purchased them in canisters. So far this is my vary most favorite. Highly recommend to any tea fan.

Over-all one of my favorites.
I prefer this Darjeeling tea over others I have tasted. Over-all one of my favorites. Taste is subjective, but this is a quality product.

Would highly recommend
Tea Forte is my FAVORITE loose leaf tea (and I keep trying new brands as often as possible). I absolutely love this for a black tea - it's strong but balanced, can be served with or without cream. My absolute favorite go-to breakfast beverage :)

This is a great price for a pretty good tea
This is a great price for a pretty good tea. It is by no means the most amazing black tea on the planet, but it is a lovely and smooth one. For best results, do not overbrew and wait about a minute after boiling the water to add the tea; this will prevent it from turning bitter.

Not a "tea expert" but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy it!
I am definitely not a tea expert. I grew up in a British household drinking Tetley's or Lipton black tea with milk and sugar. I am trying to branch out and try more varieties of teas and came across this flavour in a tea sampler. After two wonderful cups, I ordered this canister. This is how I wished the tea I drank as a child tasted. It's a wonderful black.
