Great for the collection!
This is a 1999 kit, and it shows. The versatility of this kit is top notch though. The basic hands can hold all sorts of weapons from the Kämpfer’s Shotgun, to the 2019 Alex NT-1 SMG, as well as it’s own Rifles and Bazooka. This was a fun build and is very sturdy.I feel though that the price is steep for the age of this kit, considering the MG Gouf was released around the same time and is nearly $15-25 cheaper.Experiment and paint this kit! It looks great with a personal touch!

Simply a classic
I've built several kits in my lifetime, this is definitely my favorite one by far based on durability and aesthetic. The ez8 is simply a beast, it's heavy and generous with plastic. The dry transfers were very fun to use and application of stickers were easy. This is simply a classic model kit and I loved it as a kid and I still love it today. My only issue I had was in the instructions some steps were out of order. With that being said if you are a fan of Bandai model kits and have prior basic experience it shouldn't be an issue for you to figure out or detere you from this one. Definitely happy with my purchase!

Fun to build but customer service wasn't of any help.
4/5 stars for the model and 0/5 stars for the customer service being of absolutely no help.I enjoyed building this and it was fascinating how articulated these gunpla models can be. However the problem is that it was missing the K runner. The K runner contains a single crucial piece required for the head which allows you to put the sticker for the eyes on it. I tried contacting the seller about this issue and they said there was no way they could help me even though they sold what is effectively a defective product missing a crucial piece. This was my first gunpla model and I was seeing red due to the missing piece. I was so angry since a master grade gunpla model takes at least 4 to 6 hours on average to put together if you don't screw up. Later I modified the head by melting a piece of plastic and glueing it inside the head so that I could place the eye sticker on it.

Fun trip down memory lane.
What an awesome kit. The EZ8 is great MG kit, but you have to keep in mind, it’s a 20 year old design. It’s not as flexible in some areas as newer kits might be, but it’s certainly posable.I had a lot of fun building this with my son. We both recently got into gunpla and it’s been great. 08th MS Team was always one of my favorite series so I had to buy some gundams from it. This and the ground type are essentially the same. The outward appearance is different but like, the frame on the inside is the same on both. It’s a great build and it looks awesome.

Get one. You know you want to.
Ah, the Gundam Ez8, what an affordable and awesome build this kit is. The weapon load out is awesome, has a backpack to store his bazooka and He's a perfect starting kit in the MG line. He's a little older but that's okay, it has held up well, get one! 🤘

Old kit, but a good one
An awesome kit for being 18yrs old! Came in on time and the packaging was in perfect shape. This kit is old, put the decals held up really nice. You do have to use a very little bit of glue with this kit, just make sure you test it on runners before applying to your final product. I would love if they came out with v 2.0 for this as the proportions are strange for it, and the joints are weak compared to newer kits. Until then this really fills the spot for my favorite gundam series. 08th ms is the best!

rock solid and amazing to pose
rock solid and amazing to pose. The chest piece is a bit hard to pull out but its a gimmick don't play with it too much. I wish they had the hidden guns pop out as well. Hands are awful but at this point its better than MG 2.0. This kit will make you hate blue plastic. Leave as much space as you can on your final nibs on all your blue bits. the plastic warps and turns white very easily. I recommend leaving enough space to go in with a file and sanding it off. Otherwise I hope you're planning on painting it.

Weak hands
The only complaint I have about this is the lack of holding grip on the hands. I had to get some alternate ones like the Bandai build hands for the master grade line and put tape and glue on the MG and Beam rifle so they’d stay on. Other than that, I love this. Personally I’d like to see a 2.0 version with just a little more articulation or a real grade one in the future.

Old school ground type
The stature of this item is some what smaller than I had anticipated, but it was an exceptionally fun build and the price was right on the money. Arrived without damage and was shipped fairly quickly from what I recall. If I could do it all over again, I would weather the hell out of this thing, and maybe do a few detail modifications as there is a lot of flat white surface to work with if you are inclined to do so.
