L100 vs l80? the l100 is almost 25% heavier than the l80. is it worth that for the extendable safety rail (the main difference between the two)?

I’ve owned two Hailo ladders, a taller one for when I lived in a high ceilinged Victorian house and this one. The treads are nice and wide, but it is the extendable rail which makes all the difference in the safety of this ladder. I would not buy this ladder without the wonderful safety features built in to it. Don’t worry - they are definitely worth it. Really great ladder.
