CS Hyde Conformable PTFE Tape With Silicone Adhesive, Brown 1 inch x 36 yards

I bought this to protect electronic PCB's sliding against each other, since it has a known dielectric value. It is just as described.

I'm on the fence, I like it a lot but not sure what's missing

This is exactly what was needed to smooth out and slightly raise my Razer Mamba Chroma mouse. I ended up covering pretty much the whole bottom with 1 layer in strips and then added 2 strips to each mouse foot. This raised the mouse up enough so I don't notice it dragging on the Razer Firefly mouse pad which has a slight bump in it. I can see this being useful for all sorts of things as well.

I bought this tape to solve a problem many years in the making: a kitchen drawer built in the fifties with the wooden drawer bottom riding directly on a wooden support. Over the years they have worn each other away somewhat, and the opening and closing of the drawer sheds fine wood dust on the contents of the drawer below.So I applied a piece of the PTFE adhesive tape to the support and another to the drawer. Said drawer pulls out much easier now and should put an end to wood dust.

When combined with a hard mouse pad, this tape let's my computer mouse glide over the pad, making it much easier to make tiny yet precise movements with the mouse.I used to use CS Hyde's mouse tape but its narrower width made it harder to apply to my computer mouse's feet. The additional width of this tape makes much easier to apply and the extra thickness should let it last longer.

The drawers were hard to slide, very loud, and created sawdust.I cleaned the friction surfaces with alcohol and let dry 20 mins since it soaked into wood. Then used tape on cabinet track, drawer bottom and drawer top (since it had not proper slide mechanism).So far so good. Will be interesting to see how long the tape stays adhered. Did 6 large and 2 small drawers and still have much left over.

Bought a roll of this to help ease some of the friction between my mouse and the mousepad for gaming. This worked like a charm. A couple pieces of tape on the bottom of the mouse and it flows effortlessly. The initial application is still holding up three months later, and this is with x3 days a week of gaming.
