The best robot vacuum I have owned so far.
The ECOVACS DEEBOT X12 OmniCyclone has completely changed the way I clean my home. After using several robot vacuums over the years, this is the first one that truly feels like a hands-off cleaning solution rather than a gadget that still requires constant maintenance. What immediately impressed me was the incredible 22,000Pa BLAST suction power. Whether it’s pet hair, dust, dirt, or debris buried deep in carpets, the X12 picks it up with ease. The ZeroTangle technology actually works, which means I no longer spend time cutting hair off brushes every week. For homes with pets, this feature alone is worth its weight in gold. The standout feature is the FocusJet Pre-Spray system. Instead of simply dragging a damp mop over dried spills, the X12 identifies stubborn messes and pre-treats them before scrubbing them away. Coffee drips, dried paw prints, kitchen splatters, and other tough stains that previous robot mops struggled with are removed far more effectively. Combined with the OZMO Roller Instant Self-Washing technology, floors look noticeably cleaner after a single pass. The bagless OmniCyclone station is another major advantage. Not having to continually buy replacement dust bags saves money and reduces waste. The station automatically empties debris, washes the roller mop, and helps keep the entire system running with minimal intervention. For larger homes, PowerBoost Charging is a game changer. The robot quickly tops off its battery during cleaning cycles, reducing downtime and allowing it to cover significantly more area without waiting hours to recharge. Navigation and obstacle avoidance have also been excellent. It intelligently maneuvers around furniture, avoids obstacles, cleans close to edges, and transitions between hard floors and carpets without leaving wet streaks behind. What I appreciate most is that the X12 feels designed for real-world messes. It doesn’t just vacuum—it actively tackles dried stains, pet hair, dust, and everyday dirt while requiring very little maintenance from the owner. That’s the promise robot vacuums have made for years, and this is one of the first models I’ve used that truly delivers on it. The ECOVACS app is intuitive and easy to use, allowing you to customize cleaning schedules, room priorities, suction levels, and mopping intensity. Mapping is fast and accurate, making it ideal for larger homes with multiple rooms and complex layouts. If you want premium performance, exceptional mopping, powerful suction, and one of the most advanced self-maintaining systems currently available, the ECOVACS DEEBOT X12 OmniCyclone is an easy recommendation. While it is a premium-priced product, the performance, convenience, and time savings justify the investment. For anyone with pets, children, or a large home, this is one of the best robot vacuum and mop combinations available today and sets a new standard for what an automated cleaning system should be.

It mops amazingly!! But, it's bad at detecting cables/fabrics on the floor
I’ve used this for almost a month and haven’t had to mop by hand ever since😎 I haven’t used the vacuum either, just my handheld vacuum to reach awkward corners the robot can’t reach. This is perfect for my all-wood flooring that gets dusty super quickly and easily shows dust, hair, and water spots. So easy to set up, app UI is simple and easy to learn how to use, mopping function genuinely works, you can schedule routines to auto-run, it self empties…this product is great. I’m so happy that it actually, genuinely works as described. Photos: before and after the first mopping of my dusty, dirty-water spotted floor. So impressed! Edit: after 1 month of use, I still think this robot vacuum works amazing. But, it's horrible at detecting charging cables or small fabrics (socks, rags, etc) laying on the floor and will get tangled up,

Mops good, doesn’t avoid obstacles well, gets stuck.
Mops good. Doesn’t avoid obstacles well. Has got stuck under different areas so tight that has left Deep Scratches on top of Deebot. Vacuum will be tested in a few months when we get our new puppy.

Day One - AMAZED / Month - Oops! / Two Months - Amazing again!
I’ll update this if necessary but this vacuum/mop is insane in the best ways so far. Set up was easy, it mapped our house in 15 minutes. It’s vacuuming right now and is so quiet I can barely hear it. It’s picking up things my previous robot vac would run away from. And it’s super customizable. The only thing I have an issue with is I didn’t buy it sooner when said previous vacuum (less than two years old) started having major issues and worked about 35% of the time.. but that’s a me problem. Update 1: it broke. So, I found a piece of the vacuum in our bathroom after the job completed. It turned out to be the mop head cover. There were clear instructions on how to reinstall it but it turned out that mine was actually broken. I contacted the company, they worked with me on trying to fix it and then sent a new unit. The new unit is great and the mop cover is intact and works as intended. Update2: “Fred” is still going strong. With our previous robot vacuum (another brand), we had major issues with cleaning, scheduling and docking. One thing I never associated with the old vacuum was the amount of dog hair in our air return filter on our HVAC system. I changed the filter yesterday (on the same schedule always) and was shocked to see NO hair. I realized at that point that the only change in the house was “Fred”. We still have our fur babies but a lot less fur in the house.

Very Disappointing
I have been having the Deebot X1 for over 4 years and it never turned me down. With that experience, I decided to purchase the X12 to reduce the X1's workload. First impression I got when opening the box was the station looks great, but when I pulled it out from the box, I could immediately tell that the build, material.. etc. wasn't as well as rge X1. It's just not as sturdy. When I lifted the vacuum robot out of its box, I had a felling the bumper would either fall apart or crack... it's jut flimsy. Setup of simple, and can't deny that it looks better than the X1. Actually, Can't deny that it looks great. Did the mapping, not much issues. I then went for it's first run (vacuum only). It bumped into every single piece of furniture in the room, and trapped around the dining table and chair area for over 15mins which I couldn't tolerate anymore and choosed to carry it back to its station. 2nd run was similar, not only in the dining table and chair maze, it seemed to lost its track even when in the middle of nowhere. I went online and followed people's suggestions to turn the AIVI off, set sensitivity to low... etc., then it behaved better. After it started acting a little decent, I had it to run its1st time "vac & mopping". I saw that the roller keep sliding in and out consistently, trying to do its so called edge cleaning? 10 times within a couple of minutes, the robot itself avoided an obstacle, but hit the obstacle with its roller which was extended out. Based on the consistently shifting roller and the fact that it kept hitting obstacles, only comment I had was it's not going to last long. To be fair; before getting into further, I would like to say both the vacuum and mopping performances are great. However, only 3 days after I received it, less than 72 hrs literally, and performed mopping 2 times only. The mop roller started malfunctioning, it's not lowering down to the floor nor rotating. I spent hrs tried to find out why, but couldn't fix the issue. Contacted Ecovac, they want serial number, proof of purchase... etc. I sent them a picture of the mop roller not lowering down nor rotating.. then they wanted a video. It's just frustrating. The vacuum robot itself is built with some high electrostatic materials, the front bumper attracts hairs and fine dust to stick onto. It looks like it has been used for yrs after it's first run. The robot hits the furnitures abnormally hard compared to the previous model, X1. Not sure what it ran into, I discovered a deep scratched on its biggest sensor on the side. It's also acting funny with its "rapid charge" function. Even with over 60% power left in the battery, it would go back to the station to get charged for a while in the middle of a vacuum program. Anyway, carrying it to UPS to return it is not my best interest. Given the fact that I don't think it can last long, I just purchased the Aurion extended protection program. And Let's see how Ecovac approachs the resolve the mopping issues.

Worth it, but… regular frustrations
Love this, but it has had multiple issues. The first one began leaking early on and the second one has dust bin emptying issues. When it works, it does do a fantastic job! Also cannot for the life of me replace the side brush. It does not come off easily as the instructions show. It’s going to break if I try any more

No Dust Bag Changes Yet After Months of Frequent Use
We set up our ECOVACS DEEBOT T50 PRO Omni on March 31st and have used it almost every day since then. We have two cats, and one member of our household is allergic to them, so we vacuum more frequently than most households. Despite that heavy use, we have not yet had to replace the dust bag. The robot does an excellent job picking up fine dust, debris, and cat hair. It even gets the fur that collects around chair legs and furniture. During cleaning, it automatically returns to the base station to empty its internal dustbin as needed, then resumes cleaning where it left off. Because of the self-emptying feature, the onboard dustbin never seems to become overly full. I have had no issues with the app. I'm not particularly tech-savvy, but I find it very easy to use. I can even start the vacuum remotely when I'm away from home, and I've never experienced connectivity issues or lag. The robot also navigates extremely well. It easily crosses the thresholds between rooms, avoids obstacles that are accidentally left in its path, and has never gotten stuck. Noise has not been an issue either. I can comfortably watch television while it is cleaning in the same room, although we often run it while we're away because it's so convenient to come home to freshly cleaned floors. Overall, the dust collection system has been very efficient, and even with frequent cleaning in a pet-heavy household, the dust bag lasts a surprisingly long time.

Works greak
Bought this for work to keep the office clean. It runs a vacuum routine 2 times a day and a mop at night. Vacuum time is 2-3 hrs each because of the size of the spaces. Im very impressed with how clean it keeps our space. At times there are 3 dogs and lots of hair but its held up great so far. The mapping and the options available make it very user friendly. I've had it for around 2 months now.
