The Best Anti-Spill Cup Holder for Your Desk or Table

I had my doubts about this when I ordered it. NO MORE DOUBTS NOW! I put this cupholder in place on my over-hospital-bed-table. That was weeks, ago! It has been in the same spot where I tightened the screw to fasten it the table, every since!!! It stay tight & sturdy. No problem holding my 24. oz. Insulated Cups with drink & ice in them. Never had to adjust or re-tighten the screw, because it stays secure. I love that I can swing it out away from the bed as I get up, (since this table is made to stay over the bed), or I can swing it in towards me in the bed to bring it closer. Yet it still stays just as tight as the 1st day I put it on there. It is so easy to put the handle on the cup, by sliding the gray bar up into the groove of the cup. The handle is very securely fitted then, & won't slip out. I think you can use adhesive, but I didn't need to. Even thought of buying one for the other side of the table. They had a few color choices, & I just like red alot to go with the black table it is pretty & stylish. I am often on bed rest, so mine gets alot of use The gap between the screws to tighten it to a table is wide enough to fit very thin tables or one that might be quite thick. It has not scratched the paint off from being attached, or the swiveling motion. An excellent purchase, at a very low price!

Ever have that desk or counter top that you really wanted a cup holder but couldn’t find a way to make it happen. Good news, this cup holder attaches almost anywhere you can imagine that you would want a cup holder. I was so impressed with the ease in attaching these cup holders that I got three of them for my over the bed table to hold my bottles of water that I keep to quench my late night thirst. They are sturdy, secure, durable, and perfect for holding any normal size bottle of water.

I am unfortunately clumsy, and got considerable criticism and aggravation from spilling drinks on the floor or bed. In one case, I spilled water which required me to buy an replacement laptop computer. Clamping one to my bedside table and computer desk has prevented that problem.

Update!Michael responded to my photo and review and sent me a new Cup Holster and even included an extra clamp to replaced the faulty one from my first Cup Holster. Top notch customer service. Got the new one installed on the desk and it works perfectly. No leaning cups now.The one I got will not stay anywhere close to level. If you look at the photo, I haven't even tightened it down yet and it's already leaning. If it wasn't in the spot it's in, with the screw part up against a piece of metal, it completely contorts and I can't even tighten it down. Perhaps I just got a bad one but, I'm not ordering another to find out....

The product works but it moves a lot no matter how much you tighten the clamp because the clamp arms are made of a very weak plastic.The good - it holds most cups and mugs i have tried in it.The Bad - when you use a clamp on product like this, you generally want to be able to tighten it until you get to the point where it doesn’t move around on the desk. That is impossible with this product due to the weak plastic in the clamp’s arms. Once you tighten it to a certain point, tightening it further just stretches the clamp open more with each turn and actually moves the holder further from the desk by a tiny bit each turn - see picture 1 and then after more tightening see picture 2 (notice that tightening it after a certain point just increases the gap between the table and the holder because it just pushes the bottom of tthe clamp down and out at an angle). Because of that, the product wiggles a lot. This would all be fine if it was priced at about $5 but for $15 there should be something more solid.

Got this for our rowboat. It attaches to the seat wonderfully. All it needs is a cork or silicon tab on each gripper to make it stable without over tightening. Is fine on a 3/4” seat. No problems at all now. It is more robust than some reviews suggest.

I have one for home and for work. Works well.

I took one star off because it is overpriced for what you get in my opinion. There also are no instructions. It took this klutz a bit to figure it out. I didn't play enough Tetris in my misspent youth, obviously! However, the holder IS sturdy enough to hold a full 30 oz coffee cup. - which takes me to my headline. I have had PCs and Laptops since the early 90s. I have never had a major disaster until 3 days ago when I knocked over about 20 oz of Keto coffee onto my MacBook - Hurray for apple care -but even with apple care my repair bill will be 400.00 Most expensive cup of coffee I never drank in my life. My hot steaming mug of deliciousness shall forever sit in its holster on the edge of my table from this day forward. So help me, God! Instructions for assembly - There are two long slots on either side of the holder. Depending on whether you are right or left handed, simply slide the clamp into one of the long slots and then screw the clamp onto your table. I am using a vintage kitchen table from the 1950s that has a bit of a chrome edge and that caused no issues at all.

A good idea but the cup holder clamp is poorly designed and not strong enough to hold the holder firmly to a desk top. As you tighten the clamp screw it bends the plastic fitting. Poor quality.

The plastic bends and is generally poor quality would be better for the price if it was fully made out of metal rather then whatever cheap plastic they use

If you want to tighten this down to be certain it won't budget, you'll be disappointed. All the construction is plastic and cheap, so the top and bottom part of the clamp will twist away from each other when pressure is applied.

The plastic has a cheap feel to it and the two parts fit together a bit strangely. It does work. It stays attached to the desk and it holds my drink. It just has a bit of a cheap feel to it.
