I bought these boots for gardening. Fed up with wellingtons, which regularly cracked across the sole of the right foot with pressure from the garden fork, and which gave me cracked heels. These have a steel-reinforced sole, and have done 6 months of hard digging work without showing any signs of wear. And leather rather than rubber on the feet has done wonders for my cracked heels.I am a size 6.5 , and bought a size seven, since I would be wearing them with thick socks. Perhaps female sizes are smaller, because I need two pairs of thick socks in these boots. Still, they are very comfortable. I might get a size smaller next time - but I don't think these boots are ever going to wear out, so that time may never come.

Nice enough boot however they were bought for someone who always wears a size 11 and has what he calls a 'simple foot' - every size 11 seems to fit without problems. I was surprised therefore to hear that these were loose enough for him to request a size 10. Quite a bit too much room and as they are a slip-on there is no way to tighten them other than wear a few pairs of socks. Wanted something without the hassle of laces but this can work against you if there is excess space. No free returns on them so £3.95 was the cheapest at the post office to return with a signature being required at the other end. Ordered a size 10 and hoping they will be a good fit or I'll be out of pocket twice however these are a very low price for leather and they are a good looking work boot. No quibble about the quality of the boot itself.

These boots are made well. Have the stamp on the side of the heal that makes them look good. Comfatable for my husband, but sadley my son has long toe's and this made them to small. However my husbands were fine. In my own opinion I think the nubuc are not as wide as the dark leather wich suited my son, as he has narrow feet but they have a little less length. But in all they are an excelent price for a well made work boot. Well wraped and delivered promptly. Thank you.

I ordered these boots for my husband for Christmas and a fortnight later the sole had completely come off and the metal was showing on both boots, tried to contact seller to complain and was told that my date was up and I couldn’t return them, no help whatsoever, I wouldn’t advise anyone to buy these complete waste of money

These boots disappointed all most immediately.A ridge or nasty seam can be felt inside one of the toe caps, which has made these boots extremely painful to wear.Although they are very difficult to put on, once on they are much too big, even with insoles fitted.They also left me with wet feet after the first wear in the rain.Avoid at all cost.

I bought these to replace a previous pair which had been damaged. The new pair are not as well made (moulded sole, not stitched, small pull tabs), and the fit seems narrower for the size. They're OK, and fine for the price, but nothing special.

Really like these. Sick of faffing around with loose laces on my boots all day. These look good, easy to clean and comfortable. Normally a size 13 but went up a size because I’ve had bad experiences with work boots before where they’ve taken ages to wear in for comfort. These have worked fine from day one.

First time I have bought footwear blind without trying them first. I have to say I am very impressed with the quality of the leather and the comfort. They look well made but obviously time will tell, but first impressions are great.
