American Crew ACUMEN Clay Exfoliating Cleanser

This comes as a plastic tube in a cardboard box. The tube is about the same height as my iPhone 7 Plus; it's pretty big. This stuff is white (not brown or black as is usual with masks like this). It tingles a bit -- it's not unpleasant. I left it on to dry but it took ages. I watched the whole of "Have I got News for You" .. and had forgotten about it. It washed off easily in the shower. Afterwards, I feel really refreshed.

Leaves skin refreshed and clean, has got rid of all of hubby's dry skin in a couple of uses. Leaves the face tingling, but moisturised and his skin actually feels younger. Definitely worth the money, especially if you're prone to problem skin.

Supplied in a 150ml tube, this Clay Exfoliating Cleanser from American Crew has a pleasant scent which is just as well as it takes a while to dry. It has an exfoliating effect and is pretty good at clearing away dead skin etc. I found it easiest to wash off in the shower and it did leave my skin clean and fresh.

Even though exfoliators could be considered a more feminine product, This high quality cleanser gives off gorgeous masculine musky aromas. This is quite an alluring way to hydrate, And feels smooth on my skin. The mask contains hyaluronic acid to help boost moisture levels without compromising on ease of use. For the gentlemen who like to take care of your skin, This is a must-have as part of a daily gentle skincare routine.

I’m really loving using this exfoliating cleanser, you get 150 ml and given the amount needed for each use this will last a good amount of time. It has a really nice scent to it. I’m also really happy the whole brand actually they don’t seem to produce a bad product. This does leave a very refreshing and clean feel on your skin after use obviously this is totally expected but it’s nice to really feel it. I would definitely recommend this. Although this is called a 'cleanser', the instructions on here and on the box tell you to use it like a mask i.e. smooth on and leave to dry before washing off. Thing is, is didn't dry on Mr RC and so he eventually washed it off anyway. The exfoliating grains are small but effective and polished his skin to leave it smooth and the clay did work to absorb dirt and oil leaving his skin looking visibly renewed. It's quite harsh and drying, though, so is probably a once a week thing that needs a good moisturiser after. And though it smells nice with a subtle masculine fragrance, it's really doesn't do more than L'Oreal men's clay mask at about half the price. Mr RC will use this quite happily but wouldn't replace it.

I like this. My skin felt cleansed and gently scrubbed! Great for exfoliating... I would use once or twice a week...

This is more of a mask than a cleanser as you keep it on the skin for about five minutes for the clay to dry down and draw out the impurities in the skin. The exfoliation isn’t too harsh and does help to get rid of dry skin. It has a pleasant aftershave smell to it which is not overpowering but does linger on the skin. This does leave the skin feeling clean and refreshed but I don’t know if it is worth the price tag. I feel like you could get similar products for cheaper.

Funciona muy bien, es fácil y rápido de usar pero solo si tienes claro cómo se usa. No es un exfoliante para usar directamente dentro de la ducha, porque debe secarse antes de retirarlo y con la humedad de la ducha eso es imposible. Es una crema muy húmeda, así que me lo aplico en seco mientras me preparo para entrar en la ducha. En muy poco tiempo, un par de minutos, ya está seca, como una mascarilla. Entonces ya puedo entrar en la ducha y retirarlo y funciona muy bien.

The tube is relatively strong and durable with a flip-top lid to allow for the cream to be dispensed quickly & easily with the desired amount. As the product description states, this cleanser is designed and formulated with a combination of vitamins, antioxidants, and moisturizers that are known to exfoliate dead skin, remove impurities, soften, soothe, and calm. The end result is a healthier looking and glowing skin. The consistency is thick and coarse which contains some small beads to create some friction to lift and exfoliate dead skin. Don’t expect this to foam up, it’s a clay-based cream that’s supposed to be applied and left on to dry. Applying the cleanser doesn’t feel abrasive, but has a nice feeling as it’s rubbed in and a slight cooling sensation as it dries. The cleanser tightens up and feels like it’s doing something! A small amount is sufficient enough to spread evenly. Once it’s left on for some time, it washes off easily and doesn’t feel over dry at the end. Once off, it leaves a clean, exfoliated and smooth looking skin that’s glowing after it’s moisturized. Overall, this is a good face cleansing mask for all types of skin.
