It stays on longer than typical balms and keeps my lips comfortable even in windy or sunny conditions. First of all, I read some reviews discussing taste. I’d like to know why are you people tasting this? Stop licking your lips! This is probably why you have chapped lips. For those that try it straight from the tube, just why??? This is not an edible product, so why are you consuming it? The whole purpose of this is to fixed chapped lips and offer a little sunscreen protection. To the reviewer who had severely chapped lips after being on an island, obviously this wasn’t going to prevent a sunburn on an island. It is only spf 30. You needed spf 70. Don’t blame the company for your poor choices. Focusing on my experience now. My lips are chronically chapped. This did not fix it instantly. The past couple of days, I have used it consistently along with staying hydrated. I have noticed significant improvement in my chapped lips. Part of that is from the lifestyle change of staying hydrated, and part of that is from this product. This product works if you consistently use it. One use is not going to magically fix your lips.

Love this stuff, the only thing I suggest is that you don’t let it get too hot it will turn liquid and give off this funny taste.

Whenever I'm outside for more than 3-4 hours, my lips get so chapped and occasionally sunburnt. I tried these out and find that they are very effective at preventing dryness and getting sunburnt. I like that it's liquid form so I can keep in my hot car for emergencies. The application is easy, you can apply directly with the tube or use your finger. It goes on nicely and stays on for a while. I'd say that you'd have to reapply every few hours. Whenever I remember to use this, my lips don't get burnt which tell me they work nicely. My kids pediatrician recommended this for super dry chapped lips. It works well and moisturizes well for all weathers.

So far so good. I love the extra protection with the sunscreen.

The taste is really bad when it touches the inside of my mouth. I won’t use it again.

It's very glossy like petroleum gel. Did not help much for my cracked lips. Multiple reapplication is required. I find it funny that now, my lips look more darker than before. I shall not buy it again.
