The stand is a substantial item with a weighted base to keep it from toppling over, as some designs seem liable to do. It comes in three parts, with a long screw and the tool to tighten it up with all included. It was purchased for a friend of mine who has one of his arms suffering from nerve damage. Using the phone is a real challenge, so a simple stand without spring clips or other difficult to use features, is the perfect solution. The design has a cutout in the lower lip so that you can still rest it in the cradle with the charger wire plugged into it... a very good idea indeed. The cradle also has a hinge behind it, that lets you adjust the angle it sits at. The hinge is held in place by friction, so no awkward knobs or levers to turn or twist. There has obviously been a lot of thought gone into designing this stand, even to the extent that it has soft feet and a soft-faced trade to stops catches and marks where it contacts your other possessions. It is the simplest tools that work the best and this is proof positive!

Bought this for my 12 year old son and he uses it every day with his Samsung mobile. Perfect for holding his phone when chatting to friends and for watching videos when relaxing in the bath. It’s sturdy and easy cleaned. It can be tilted to provide a better viewing angle. Easy to assemble and looks good on his bedside table or tv stand. Wherever he wants it. Pleased with it and can recommend.

Gift for my Mum and she loves it. Can slightly tilt phone back which is handy. Doesn't go too tall so depends what you want to use it for, my Mum just uses it to watch soaps etc on her phone when in kitchen or bath so works for her. Definitely sturdy, with a slightly weighted base but my Mum's phone isn't too heavy. Definitely worth the price.
