A good value 2.5mm twin and earth cable.
A good value for money twin and earth cable.Firstly, this IS 2.5mm (with 1.5mm earth). 2.5mm refers to the CSA (cross sectional area, not the diameter).I've attached a photo where you can see that the diameter is 1.727mm.The formula for finding a CSA is:Diameter^2 x pi/4.Which gives us a CSA of 2.34mm, slightly lower than the 2.5mm, but within tolerance.My cable is marked seval kablo, as well as the BASEC standard marking, which is a perfectly fine make.All the cores are solid copper as you would expect.Overall, this is a perfectly good 2.5mm twin and earth at a good price.I hope you found this review helpful.

Good value cable
Exactly as described in the ad - 10 metres of 2.5mm FT+E, includes some earth insulation. Ideal for rewiring my workshop.

It did the job!
Did the job. I was expecting it to be flat flex but is very well insulated and round. Quite stiff when trying to bend it around corners - especially when put inside plastic trunking - as I did.
