Best Vacuum I Have Ever Owned
I had a respectable DirtDevil battery-powered before this. The DirtDevil did not have a removable battery. A removable battery is a very helpful feature. Hoover offers a 2 A*h and 4 A*h battery. The 4 A*h battery provides plenty of uninterrupted vaccuuming. Though the Hoover cordless hand vac is my favorite by a very wide margin, my experience with it is less than perfect but well worth the faults. The first 4 A*h battery I bought was very expensive, and though it provided ample operating time between charges, the battery failed a few months later. I liked this vacuum enough that I bought another very expensive replacement 4 A*h battety. It lasted about a year. Even then, it wasn't the battery that failed. A few weeks prior, the vacuum's motor began making a high-pitched squeal. The motor died a few weeks later. Even at that point, the replacement 4 A*h battery was still good. I got 2 years of great service from the vacuum. While the motor burn-out was disappointing, I feel very pleased with the 2 years of service from this vacuum. After my DirtDevil died, I tried two other brands. I immediately got rid of the other two. Despite advertising great suction, they barely even qualify as vacuums. They'd hardly suction up anything. One was the brand that is WORX or has WORX in its name. This Hoover has GREAT suction. The Hoover was /is reasonably priced. The Hoover is easy to use. The Hoover as a very practical design.

The best cordless rechargeable hand vacuum on the market!
After years and years of using Dustbusters with their dying batteries, I gave up and after doing some research, I landed on this product. What I like about it is that the battery is removable and can be replaced if it should ever go out. It has great suction power and the battery lasts longer on a full charge than any Dustbuster that I've ever had. I also love that there is a charge indicator that you can press to see how much life your battery has in it, to see if you need to charge it before getting into a big job. It's easy to empty and I'm very pleased with this hand vacuum.Update: I've now owned my original Hoover ONEPWR vacuum for almost a year and a half and I'm convinced that it is the best handheld vacuum on the market. It has as much power and suction as it did the first day that I got it and I still get as much use out of it as I did when I first got it. I ended up purchasing a second one to keep upstairs, so that I wouldn't have to keep running downstairs just to get the vacuum. I highly, highly recommend this product!

It actually vacuums well, which means its loud as hell
So after running the gambit of handheld vacuums over the years for my office, bathroom, car and finding many that could pick up only the smallest dust and only then if it just landed I decided to try this guy because we've had several hoovers over the years and they tend to be utilitarian workhorses. Pricier than thousands of results on Amazon but you get what you pay for and all. It is not the cheapest, smallest, lightest most ergonomically designed thing when compare to some of the sleek modern offerings which usually suck (by not sucking enough), but I put functionality over form for something like this and its the winner there.Pros:- Suction is very good. Its not a replacement for a full sized vacuum and its not meant to be as just the time to cover a significant space with the little opening would be a slog, but it picks up everything its encountered in our bedroom and bathroom even debris from drywall repairs and wiring led lights in the closet (although limit the drywall dust as it clogs filters easily).- Battery life is very good, we're more likely to let it die because we get used to running it without charging constantly than from completing a single chore.- interchangeable batteries FTW! I don't drink kombuche in tie dye t-shirts but throwing away devices and batteries with heavy metals and dangerous chemicals every 2 months doesn't seem smart if my kid wants to enjoy nature with his kids and finding these mythological consumer electronic recycling locations here is a local store if its something they can make money off or it costs more than the device did. Also I still take pride in maintaining things and actually trying to repair them rather than replacing it like its disposable goods so this is big pro in my book.Cons:With great suction comes great responsibility or at least great power requirements.- The battery and therefore device is heavier than many (most?) handhelds but most handhelds can only vacuum up dreams and wishes while leaving mundane things like dust and particulate to the peasants.- It is loud, as loud if not louder than many uprights which is understandable since the physics of moving a significant volume of air at suction speeds is not trivial and then that must be powered by a motor compact enough to be handheld. So if you want to vacuum up a 12'x12' room don't buy this unless you like to slowly crawl around a 12'x12' room over a 1/2 day.If you want to vacuum up dust, hair, crumbs, bits of paper, or herbs from the counter, car, or bathroom while no one is napping nearby buy this one!If you want a sleek super light weight quiet handheld to do the above try a different dimension where physics works different or maybe buy one of the other ones on amazon and hang it on the wall to look at while you use a broom and dustpan to clean up.

A quality product!
I had to think twice about buying this vacuum as it costs considerably more than the other hand held vacs made by B&D, Shark etc. After reading the reviews I decided that this was what I wanted as the ‘cheapies’ that I had bought previously didn’t last as long as I would have liked. Upon receiving this vac, I could see that it was a quality vacuum. Very well built! I have only had it for a short time but so far it has performed very well. Lots of suction! Two observations - this vac is a little heavy and noisy but you have to expect that in a heavier duty unit.

No support / warrenty in India, it is imported item. Seller is not transparent.
I purchased this assuming this is being sold in India. There is no mention on the product page that this is imported from USA.First, it was delayed for 3-4 weeks. The charger power adapter only works with 120V. I used a 220 to 120 volt step down transformer adapter. But the battery charger itself was faulty and showed no lights - battery didn't charge.- I contacted support, they first asked to send me photo/videos, which I did.- I was told that the charging doc is not available with manufacturer, it is taking time in production- asked when I would that be available - was told the is no ETA- today, asked again, and the support thought the problem is battery.(Btw, the charger is easily available on Amazon USA)Extremely dissatisfied with this seller/team.

Hoover ONEPWR Limitations
It has an American for which I had to buy a UK converter (from Amazon) to charge it. After one charge something has gone wrong, I suspect the charger. I have ordered an alternative one and am waiting to see if that works. If not the Vacuum is going back !

Quality DustBuster
Read the reviews and it was top rated and after using it I can see why. Powerful and easy to clean.

Excellent hand held vacuum
Strong suction for the whole time(around 1/2 hr). Easy to manoeuvre and clean. The only complaint is that it is fairly loud.
