Beauty Vites Hair, Skin and Nails Vitamins

This is my fourth month using these pills and I like them. I'll give them 6 mos. to a year before I can say whether they've helped with the health and growth of my hair.

This may be a good product for some but from my experience it gave me terrible acne cyst that were red and painful (gradually appeared about 4-6 on my face and a few on various areas of my body) after taking them for about 3 weeks. I gave it 3 stars because I was highly impressed with how strong my nails were after 5 days, the increase in volume and thickness of my hair after 2 weeks, including reduction in breakage and shedding. Unfortunately, I can't reorder this product because l still got breakouts while drinking lots of water, and the upset stomach I get if not taken with a meal.

First off, there is no way to find an ingredient list for this vitamin anywhere on the manufacturer's website or on Amazon. I was still intrigued, normally I would skip products that are too shady to provide an ingredient list but I took a chance.Per 2 capsules: Vitamin A as retinyl palmitate and beta carotene 5000iu, vitamin C as ascorbic acid 60mg, Vit D as cholecalciferol 400iu, Niacin 10mg, Vitamin B6 as P5P 2mg, Folic Acid 200mcg, Vitamin B12 as cyanocobalamin 100mcg, pantothenic acid 50mg, biotin 3200mcg, zinc oxide 30mcg, copper amino acid chelate 3mg, and then they list their 'proprietary blend' of MSM, Inositol, gelatin powder, ginkgo biloba leaf powder, grape seed extract, horsetail herb extract, l-methionine, l-arginine, l-glutamine.My assessment: this formulation is very interesting and shows that they've done their research on which nutrients help with hair growth. It's too bad you don't know how much MSM is in the formulation, it's one of the reasons I bought it. It may not be enough to help hair growth.There are massive inconsistencies on the quality of vitamins in Beauty-Vites. One one hand they have B6 in the form of P5P which is the best form absorbed by the body that's great! Love that they have A as retinyl palmitate because a a lot of us humans can't convert A from beta carotene. Also good that regular niacin is there, it's the most effective.The bad : Beauty-Vites has cheap, poorly absorbed folic acid, B12 as cyanocobalamin, and zinc oxide which goes right through your body - that's what milk of magnesia is made of. Why bother making a 'quality' hair vitamin and put these awful cheap ingredients in it? this would be a fantastic formulation if they charged $25 instead of $20 and put the methylated versions of B12 and Folate in it, as well as a good chelated form of zinc your body can actually use. Also please add l-lysine to the amino acids in the formulation, here are lots of studies on l-lysine and hair growth.I was debating returning it because of the cheap synthetic vitamins (waste of money) but I think I will take it for a month just to see if I notice any change in my hair. I will report back. I hope the manufacturer sees this review and improves the quality of their nutrients, if that happened i would definitely be a loyal customer as I love the formulation.

Really work.. must try! i've been using this product on and off for over a year now and i've notice a difference. I usually take one pill in the morning and one in the evening. along with other hair regiments you will notice a difference as well... Drink lots of water!!!! Lots!!!

Previously I used Hairifnity and decided to look for a less expensive alternative. This about half the price and works very well. My hair grown fast and thick. Love it!

The hair and Beauty Vitamins is great would recommend this product.
