As a retired professional installer, I've used hundreds and hundreds of 110 patch panels like this one. It doesn't have the hardest shoulders for the cut-off tip to work against, but with a little extra effort you can get the punch down tool to cut the wires off. I chose this one for the price for my home install and it's well worth the money. Just make sure you are using a high quality tool with a sharp tip for the install. I liked the fact that they used screws to mount the individual sections to the front panel so if needed, you can remove just one for re-termination or repair. The individual jacks are electrically balanced for cat6+ and should work well with high speed links.

this patch panel will do the job of any other patch panel in the same category. It takes a minute or two to understand the punch down configuration but after you figure it out, it works just fine. I’m using mine in a MOIP system in a conference center. I haven’t had any problems. I personally have trouble seeing between the orange and the green because the ink that they use is not vivid like if it was a fresh batch of ink. My coworkers were able to differentiate the colors with no problem. If you’re looking to have a spare patch panel on your truck or even for a big system this one will do just fine.

I found the patch panel easy to work with. It lists both the color codes for the "A" and "B" standard configurations. The cable support bar it comes with helps make it easy to secure the wires down with tie wraps so there is no strain or pull on the punched down wires. Used in a custom built Cabinet for my Network and serial connections.

Nice solid panel. Works very well. Doesn't have a lot of markings separating the punch downs for each jack, but you can figure it out with a little planning.

Easy to install and straight to the point. Wiring diagram on the back is clear and easy to follow. The punchdown blocks feel of good quality and are clean. I had zero issues installing and punching down all ports. Great block for the money. Will buy again when we start the new MDF cabinet for the next building.
