Mics MXL-990 XLR Condenser Microphone (Metallic)

Good working flat sound no ends boost

If your budget is below 10k consider these.Verdict:1. I love these microphones because they have great frequency response (captures all highs, mids and lows)2. Can be used for both vocals and Instrument recording .3. Prices might have gone high but I got it at a good deal from amazon.(7.5k)

Best microphone ever

The only sound you get to record is a big hiss noise. The noise is more than the signal we want to record. I own a studio and have all high end microphones. I bought this since I thought I can use an inexpensive condenser mic on the go. I was out of town when the order came in. I tested this mic one day after the return window so missed my chance to return. The only useful thing about this is the shockmount which Im using for my neumann mics. Otherwise a waste of money in my humble opinion. Another possibility is that I got a defective item. But I dont think so.

Awesome mic, voice is so clear, quality of voice is mind-blowing.

good one

I like the a frequency Response of this Microphone very Crisp vocals coming from this mic

Worst quality

good price, decent build quality

Great mic, but wing bolt for tightening shock mount broke right away. Shock mount is now useless. Looks like bad quality bubbly bolt on the inside now that is broken( cast iron)? And was rearranging studio when item arrived, so past return window before i set it up and broke it. ( don't even want to return i like the mic.., but will have to buy a shock mount now:( )Edit( replaced wing bolt with a 10cent socket head cap screw. Use an allen key to tighten now, not worth returning mic for a broken 10 cent bolt) good mic, cheapish shock mount

I'm really impressed with the MXL 990 condenser microphone. The sound quality is clear, warm, and detailed, making it an excellent choice for recording vocals, podcasts, voice-overs, and even acoustic instruments. The microphone feels solid and well made, and the included shock mount is a great addition that helps reduce unwanted vibrations during recording. It captures my voice naturally with very little background noise when used in a suitable recording space. For the price, the audio quality is outstanding and easily exceeds my expectations. Whether you're just starting out or looking for an affordable upgrade to your home studio, the MXL 990 offers fantastic value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

Klingt gut.Aufnahmen direkt „in the Box“?
