Prophete Bicycle Bell in Puristic Design Diameter 50 mm Black

Leaving a review simply because it took me ages to find the right bell, I didn't want a baby-size ping-making device, but never fancied huge old-school bells either, took my chances with this one and it's absolutely fabulous, the size is compact without looking too small, the sound is pretty loud, but not overpowering, and the mount is actually different from what you see on the photo here being a much more elegant metal clasp. And no it doesn't ring on it's own if you hit a bump (though it may make a subtle rattling sound which you probably won't notice anyway). Best bell, go grab one.

Bell internal parts/cogs are made of plastic which disintegrated after 2 or 3 rings. It might be cheap, but you might as well drop your money in a drain and you'd get the same amount of benefit. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID !!!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...........................

Cycling on paths and roads, the bell is constantly ringing in movement - I have tightened every part of the device I can. I am safe (as everyone can hear me coming), annoyed at the constant noise. Currently still on bike, but will be changed to a new bell soon.

Worked well for around 1 month...yes, ONE MONTH!Not sure how to claim a refund, so writing a review to try warning other potential buyers.This is not a good product, I'd avoid & look elsewhere.
