Nice and smooth. Good morning coffee and low acid. Loved the taste.

I read a book about coffee recently that described a unusual, more labor intensive but completely natural processing method that yields a cup with a sweet almost honey-like flavor. I decided immediately I had to try some. A quick search on Amazon yielded this highly regarded example, clearly made using the same “honey roast” method I read about. Immediately upon breaking the air tight seal it was evident by the aroma that these beans were not the Columbian Arabica I usually buy. After a quick fine grind and drip brew in my Mr. Coffee machine I enjoyed my first cup. I would describe the flavor as soft, medium bodied, with a very noticeable, pleasant and unusually sweet aftertaste that reminded me of the “Bit O Honey” candies I always received plenty of when trick or treating as a child. As a life long coffee lover it was very satisfying to read about this unusual style of coffee, try it, and find that the experience lived up completely to my expectations. If you love coffee definitely give this a try.

It was not as deep flavored as I like but was smooth and no acidity.

I finished drinking my first cup of this coffee 15 minutes ago. Mmm. Very good. Great flavor and aftertaste! Thank you.The first time I truly appreciated coffee was when a friend at work brought in coffee beans he roasted at home. It was the first time I had coffee where I really enjoyed the aftertaste. I remember him saying if coffee has a bitter taste, you’re doing it wrong. I’ve been trying to recreate that coffee experience ever since and very rarely succeeding. I’m happy to report these beans have hit the mark.The beans arrived quickly and smelled awesome as soon as I opened the box. There was a nice note inside along with a keychain and a photo of the people who roasted the beans. Thanks for the thoughtful touches and delivering a home run.

Shipped quickly and was able to email them that I needed the item ground! It arrived within 3 days from TX to CA, ground super fine which is perfect for us. It smells amazing, we did our first try in the french press and it was so unctuous and smooth and dark we were amazed!!! It is a strong coffee and we are loving tasting it in different ways which really bring out the uniqueness of the special Honey Process! <3 Thank you Barbarossa Coffee! I received this item yesterday and am so very pleased with my purchase. I knew upon opening the box and smelling the fantastic aroma that the purchase was a good one. Then I opened the bag--the smell was so good. Next, I ground the coffee and may have been drooling over how amazing it smelled. Finally, I brewed and drank it-- this coffee did not disappoint. The flavor is delectable with low acidity. I'll be purchasing more of this, as well as other coffees from this seller. Thanks for including the cool keychain, pic, and note. I loved this coffee! It had such a nice sweet taste but still dark and robust. I will definitely buy again! Also came with a nice note about how they keep a very clean and sterile environment when packaging the beans. Beyond happy!I am adding a note to this coffee....I cold brewed it and it was AMAZING! It isn’t a bitter coffee to begin with but when I cold brewed it made it so smooth and sweet. But still has a very earthy “strong” coffee taste. This is one of my favorite coffee!!

UPDATE:Up to $49 per bag. Time to look elsewhere.Love this coffee!If you like a hint of sweet, and a subtle taste of brown sugar, you will love this coffee!I have ordered this coffee 12 times, and every time the price goes up. At some point, you have to say this is too much to pay for a bag of coffee. $34 for a bag…..is too much.
