Replaced old pads in bike helmet

Bummer - delamination issue
Foam and backing delaminated after two days use. Its hard to recommend this product as the original pads lasted for 2+ years and I ride 4 days a week in summer. Better to just fork out a few more $$$ and get the originals. These pads are about 2X thick than the OEM version but were still comfortable.

You can't beat it!
Great product, a little thicker than the original, but not a problem. In fact, I like the snug fit.

Well made but don't function as well as original pads...
These pads are shaped just like the original pads, and installed simply, but they are twice as thick which could cause a fit problem for some people. Also, they don't seem to be as absorbent as the original pads which results in sweat dripping on my glasses.

Works well as replacements for old and worn out padding ...
Works well as replacements for old and worn out padding in your helmets. My helmet was 8 years old so it needed some new padding. I'd rather they be a bit thicker but for the price and availability, you can't go wrong with these.

Mine was a mess
These may be better had the the sticky Velcro pieces not come off their base during shipment. The Velcro pieces then stuck to the pads and upon removal, damaged the pads. It was a mess.

No, just no.
Pads way too thick to replace original pads and still have helmet fit. Not recommended unless your helmet fits large on your head. Also, they are not pinched along the edges like original helmet pads. Must be made by a company that doesn't understand bike helmets and fit.

Good way to revive an older helmet.
I had my doubts ordering this, and particularly about it being an "upgrade."I'm not one to replace my helmet every year or whatever is the recommended practice. The original padding in my Delirium was rotted out from sweat and time, but the helmet otherwise in perfect condition. This was the only replacement padding I could find. This is quite different from the original padding -- it's more like a foam layer with felt layers inside and out, not sealed at the edges -- about 3/16 in thick, but quite compressible. The shapes are an exact fit, and adheres well to the original Velcro. It also included the two small round pieces (which my original padding did not), which solves a minor rubbing problem I had toward the back of the helmet.Apart from the extra round bits, I don't really notice a difference while riding. Very effective.I've only had these for about a month, so can't speak to the durability of the product. I'll try to update this review after I've used them for more time.** UPDATE: October 2016 **About three years in, and these are starting to break down. The layers of foam are separating. I'm a recreational rider and probably get out 20-30 times in an average summer, so not hard use. As with many synthetic foam products, I think durability is more a function of time and exposure to environmental factors.I hope this gives you an idea of the durability. I still recommend the product. It's a lot better than having to buy a new helmet.
