Leather/Vinyl Seats - Easy to wipe off
I use these chairs on my call center sales floor, and have been purchasing this same chair for about 3 years. We are a 365 day/year, 18 hour/day operation.Reasons that I purchase this chair:Mesh Back - breathableWide Seat - I have agents of ALL sizes to accommodateBulk - I HAVE to have all of the same chair on my floor, or agents will fight over the 'different' chair. This one is widely produced.Leather/Vinyl Seats - Easy to wipe off, doesn't hold smells or stainsPlastic Arm Rests - no upholstery to chew up sliding in and out from under work stationsEasy to put together - instructions are easy to follow, holes are typically drilled to line up, all pieces always arrive in the boxPrice point - While these chairs do seem to increase in price every time I buy them, they are still pretty cheap. I believe the cheapest I've been able to order them was around $90, and not they are up to around $115-$120.DrawbacksDurability - granted these are not commercial chairs, but they don't really hold up very well. I get anywhere from 6 months to a year per chair which isn't terrible given the price point and amount of use, but the quality of the 'sit' seems to deterioriate pretty quickly. By 6-12 months they are unusable.Seat padding - is very thin, the chairs are a bit hard on the buttPneumatics - the up/down mechanism is always the first thing to go, and it goes pretty quickly. We have a number of chairs at any given time that though otherwise in good shape, sink to the floor when you sit on them.Loud - these chairs tend to squeak when people rock in them and for whatever reason my staff LOVE to rock. I find myself constantly armed with a can of WD40 so I can squirt the squeaky offendersStability - the 2nd thing to go is the stability of the chair itself. We can tell that the chairs have come to the end of their life span when the seat starts to wobble/feel unstable.Tilt Mechanism - the tilt mechanism let's the sitter lean WAY too far back. I'm concerned that one day someone is going to go over backwards, so we constantly chase people down to make them sit up.Zipper Back - this chair has a zipper at the top of the chair - I still have no idea why. I've read somewhere that it's to adjust the tension of the mesh back, but in reality it's a sweater snagger. We have to put duct tape over the zipper to 1. stop people from ruining clothes when they pass by too close and 2. to stop people from shoving things in the back (like blankets, pillows, and one time, crumpled newspaper) to try to further customize the lumbar support.Taking all of the above into consideration, I still purchase about 40 of these chairs a year and will continue to do so until I can find another reasonable priced replacement that fits all of the 'Why I purchase' reasons.Taking all of the above into consideration - I don't *Love* these chairs, b

Great Chair... almost had EVERYTHING I was looking for
It's so difficult to purchase an office chair through the web because when you're looking for such an item of course you want to SIT in it. That is the number one selling point for an office chair, right. So.... I combed Amazon looking for reviews of exceptional office chairs with features I wanted and a price point I was looking for. This chair had almost everything I was looking for. First, I wanted a mesh back to keep me cooler in my office. This does have that….A nice big back with good support that lands right at shoulder height (I’m 5’7”). However, it is NOT adjustable up and down. It does have lumbar support and that is NOT adjustable either (so sad for this.. this would have been really nice). Next, I wanted a nice wide seat. Got that! Very comfy. I wasn't looking for faux leather but it's very nice. However, I tend to slide out at times. My other chair was cloth and I never noticed or thought of sliding out. Thirdly, I wanted adjustable arms. Got that! You can set them as wide as you'd like WHEN YOU ARE ASSEMBLING! I have them at widest setting. Then you can adjust them up and down for proper arm placement when keyboarding and mousing. Love this. Of course it has height adjustment and tilt back. Lastly the castors are very sturdy and roll nicely. You must assemble this chair. It comes in a box with all the parts disassembled. The instructions are easy. They use pictures so basically anyone can follow. It looks overwhelming at first but it's not. If you have an electric screw driver you are really good to go but a regular Philips screwdriver and elbow power works too.To sum up.... I love the chair.... especially for the price point and delivery was quicker than promised. Arrived in two days. I’ve only sat in it for three days. We’ll see how reliable it is as I continue to use it.

Good Buy
Good buy for the price. The chair is comfortable and well built but I probably wouldn't have bought it if I could have tried it out first. First it is wide, too wide for me. Second the lumbar support is ok but would be better if you could adjust it, primarily up and down rather than tension wise. The faux leather is thin and the back had a small tear (not enough to go through the hassle of sending it back) mostly due to poor packaging by the manufacturer. It also had some rough handling because the box was torn and falling apart. Luckily nothing was missing. I actually modified the chair to make it fit me better. I reversed the arms so they are pointing backwards. This put the arm rest backwards so I reversed them as well. I can live with it for now but I will probably replace it once I get my old chair reupholstered.

Comfortable with one major flaw
I purchased this chair May 2011, I remember I bought it because I was not going to have A/C that summer and wanted something more comfortable than my leather chair. It satisfied completly on that front, its very comfy and breathes easy. Best of all the lumbar support is very well made, especially considering that it is made purely from fabric.Pros:Comfortable in heatLarge seat, my 8 and 10 year old cousins sat in it and still had extra room!Cons:Arm rests are very small, about 8" by 2.5".The pneumatic lift failed, in less than 4 months. This was inexcusable. I am 6'1" and 245. The chair does come with a warning that it is not designed to hold more than 250. However the chair is clearly designed for larger people because of its size. I have no idea what they were thinking cheaping out on the lift adjustment. Not to mention that at its lowest setting the chair sits about 18" off the ground leaving it very uncomfortable to sit in.So take this as a warning, this is a very comfy chair that breaths well with a huge amount of space to sit. But only buy if your under 220 lbs.(Note: I salvaged it by swapping the seat onto a lift from a different chair, it works fine and has been in heavy use since November 2011. Seems either I got a defective unit, or they just cheaped out on the lift)
