Great product!

Good texture and taste

One of the tins arrived covered in yellow sticky substance that smelled like fish. Unusable and I have to wash all the tins because of the smell. They all have some dings on them. Not happy that I’m paying for an item I need to discard.

I eat about 5 cans of these sardines a week. Due to the pandemic, I decided to start ordering them online which I have come to regret. I ordered 12 but only received 11. Of the 11 I received 1/2 of the cans were badly dented. Only 3 cans of the 11 I received were in ok shape. There was also no expiration date printed on the can as I am used to seeing.Again, I have been eating this brand of sardines weekly for the past 7 years. I am very familiar with the product I should be receiving. The worst part of the whole experience is the poor quality of the fish I received in several of these cans.Maybe I received expired sardines? Maybe they we're not stamped with an expiration date because they were damaged? I will continue to buy these from my local health food store. Unfortunately, this was not a good ordering experience.

I've tried this product from Erewhon, it was the best sardine product ever. BUT - the same product (so it seems) from this seller wasn't the same. I cannot eat, it hurts my throat, something's wrong... it's not edible. And it's not eligible for return. I now have to just throw them away. This sucks hell.

The worst sardines I ever tasted. Maybe I’m a bit spoiled by the quality of the Matiz brand, but Bela’s sardines taste very musty and dirty. I only bought these because they were on sale. Live and learned — I’m sticking with Matiz.
