Looking for a basecoat red? Look no further
I usually apply this on top of a burnt umber basecoat for a deep red almost crimson look. This paint with a little airbrush flow improver and a splash of water has never clogged on me or gotten spatter all over. Highly recommend it as a foundation red

NOT scarlet red.
This is a great color but it is NOT scarlet red. This is red, when scarlet red is paint number 72.712 which is darker. False advertising.

Exactly what any modeller has come to expect from Vallejo; a vibrant colour even after thinning down with a flow improver. Perfect coverage and levelling qualities, I’ve never gone wrong with a Vallejo colour yet and can’t see any reason that would change.

nice paint, very translucent
This paint flows fantasticaly, as do all the model air paints, but be warned, this is very translucent indeed and it doesn't cover other colours too well at all. That said its great for graduations and all that kind of milarkey.
