SPHR Exam Flashcard Study System: SPHR Test Practice Questions & Review for the Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification Exam (Cards)

I just received my flash cards. So I have not used them extensively. However, I wish the answers were sometimes bulleted. Especially when the answers are long. I want to see the most important or listed facts as bullets. I think this would help visual learners. And, for those people who see the answers as a lot to read.I am glad that I have them.Wish me success.

Excellent resource! The book has great insight on how the questions are structured and the best way to answer them, even if you have to guess on a question. The flashcards are great! I've read the HRBoK from cover to cover, but the flashcards give greater insight to the information that will be on the test. I would highly recommend these resources!

Aside from the physical touch and feel, the cards are absolutely packed with information to study the material and follow the Leitner method. While I realize we try and stay away from printing paper products, for those with particular form of dyslexia, still find the best success with flashcards.

At first, I wasn't impressed with these cards. But, I learn better with flash cards than just reading. After passing the SPHR, I've come to realize that the cards were really pretty good. They cover a lot of material in an easy to use format.My plan was to use these cards to discover what I knew and what I did not know. I paired this with a book that supplemented the cards to go a little deeper on topics that were vague or complex. I trimmed the stack of cards down as they became easy to remember.I wouldn't use these cards alone, but do recommend them as part of your study plan.

I feel your product is VERY useful! I completed my Master's degree in 2010 in Organizational Leadership and wish I had this tool during my program! I am not sure if you are advertising in the university sector, but it would be great for studies in Leadership and Management roles as well. The information is thorough with great examples to provide clarity and understanding. You could also source out to business for training for management staff; not just for test preparation. It’s portable, efficient and a fun way to learn the required terminologies. The answers are detailed and concise. I feel more confident with my knowledge and understanding.

There are several HR-related topics, laws, etc. missing, so I would not recommend using it as your primary study guide. The flash cards were very helpful to hone in on one topic, law, government agency, etc., but they are definitely not meant to be the sole format of study. I highly recommend incorporating practice tests to get familiar with other areas not covered by the flash cards. I thought these flash cards would be all I need but I realized early on that I needed more - so I purchased a book of practice tests and passed the SPHR exam the first time. (Whew!)

The flashcard system is an awesome study system because I could easily take them with me to work to study at lunch, while waiting for doctor’s appointments, dance class and even while lying in bed. A book is sometimes just too big and bulky. The process is good too – separating them in boxes as you master them (I used Ziploc bags for ease of carrying.) I have been using this and the PHR / SPHR Professional in Human Resources book by Sandra M. Reed together. The cards seem to expand on the information in the book. I
