Bully Tools 92312 Leaf & Thatching Rake with Fiberglass Handle & 24 Spring Steel Tines

The tool itself is awesome. Best take I’ve boughtThe shipping obviously caused the tine to get bent. I can easily bend it and use it.More care needs to be taken on a product being shipped. This isn’t a dime store tool!!

I'm a wildland firefighter, and I live at 8,000-feet in the mountains west of Denver, Colorado. Anyone who lives in the wildland-urban interface has to know that wildfire is the greatest threat to their home and family. I take the threat of wildfire seriously, and I spend much of my free time doing fire mitigation on the property. I thin stands of trees, remove brush and other ladder fuels, and for a considerable distance around my home, I remove all ground fuels, including pine needles and cones, fallen branches, and twigs. Close to my house, I don't want anything on the ground that can carry fire. Clearing decades worth of forest debris is an enormous job, but it can be done with some hard work and the right tools.I started my project with a leaf rake from a big box store. I bought the best they had, but their best wasn't good enough. I soon bent the tines and eventually snapped the wooden handle. Then I found the Bully Tools 92312 Leaf and Thatching Rake. Wow! The Bully Tools 92312 is like no rake I have ever seen. The head is heavy gauge steel and can take a beating. The handle is fiberglass, and I couldn't break it if I tried.Since buying the Bully Tools rake, I've picked up a few of their other tools, and I am sold on Bully Tools. These tools are built for real work: commercial grade, top-quality construction. I can't recommend Bully Tools strongly enough. Spend a little extra, buy a Bully Tool, and you'll likely never have to buy that same tool ever again.

I should have bought one of these years ago instead of going through several others that wore out. A HUGE plus is that Bully Tools are designed and made in the USA! Maybe a tool made in another country that's well made and less of an investment exists, but I would rather spend my money to support American Workers.

Bought an acre in the world's largest Ponderosa Pine forest. After cutting trees as necessary to build our log home, we had to remove centuries of pine needles. One stroke of a rake filled a large garbage bag, so we raked into lots of piles (guessing 300) and loaded them onto an open top trailer and hauled to the county green recyclables yard 10 miles away. We bought this rake after two others failed first day, but this one is made ultra strong and the pine needles don't stick to the tines at all. What a workout for the abs! Seriously, this rake is one that you will be able to hand down to the next generation.UPDATE December 2021: Bought a second one for my wife. This is the last rake you will ever need to buy because it will last forever.

If you’re looking for a fantastic core workout, this rake is certainly for you.I say that a bit tongue-in-cheek, because honestly I’m incredibly pleased with this rake. My husband and I recently took on a yard clean-up project that required extensive raking of small debris, leaves, sticks, pine needles, rocks, etc. After snapping my foreign-made plastic tined rake in half in the effort, I knew I need something robustly American-made.Enter Bully Tools. I found this rake in my search for something that could not only stand the test of time, but could also take the beating from the back yard it was intended for. In one afternoon, I cleared 5-10 massive trashcan loads of debris, and it handled it like a champ. No damage, no bending, no hesitation.Others mentioned in their reviews that the rake is heavy – they’re right. I received a core workout like none other. My main criticism would be that the handle could be six inches to a foot longer (no issues with splinters from the fiberglass handle). The sturdiness of the model lends itself to being heavier, which I understand. If the handle were longer, it’d provide more leverage on those heavier loads and reduce back strain.While I would certainly purchase this again, I won’t need to.

Weren't sure about ordering a rake on line but arrived in perfect condition. The rake is extremely well made, my husband was very impressed, especially after the first use. We have a large lot and needed something that was not fragile and would stand up to repeated use. It is heavy, at least for me, but my husband said that's why it gets the job done without falling apart. Great product!

It is sturdy yes, durable sure, but light weight? It's literally the heaviest leaf rake I've ever used. I would take that review out if I were them. Light weight isn't one if the perks if this rake. I dont really care that it weighs as much as a 5 year old because it grabs everything.

This rake was delivered and had been ran over and was still good enough to use and it has been ran over twice again and it is still functional,I'd say it is a good rake.kinda noisey when in the van though.
