MediBeads Moist Heat Sinus Wrap (8 3/4" x 5 1/2")

I cannot rave enough about this wonderful product. I have had horrible sinus issues all my life. I've used the heating pad/plastic bag/wet cloth method. Soggy mess. I've used gel packs. They get hard or burst. another mess. I've used steam. Little help, and takes forever. This thing is far and away the best I've found for relief of sinus pain and pressure. It is so well constructed I can't imagine ever needing to replace it due to wear under normal use. It heats evenly (no burning hot corners!) to the perfect temperature with just a minute in the microwave. It has a lovely aroma and just enough moisture to provide that steamy relief. My sinus pain, pressure, and congestion seem to abate more quickly with this wrap than with other methods I've tried. If you deal with chronic sinus issues, relief is here!

I suffer from TMJ, and at this time of year, sinus problems. I had another brand microbead pack that I used religiously until it fell apart. Bought this on a whim, at same time of replacing the other. This is larger, although contains less beads and is thinner. It is stitched in several places to hold the beads in place which is a welcome feature. It is made of a thick enough material that I don't need a washcloth. While the other holds heat longer, I found this much more useful for my sinuses, is it really covers the whole face. It is also given me relief for the TMJ when both the ear area and jaw hurt. Would be a full five stars if it held heat longer, but it provides great relief while still hot. Due to its size and shape, would be versatile enough to use on neck, knee or other spot treatments.

Bought this to help with sinus pain and congestion. It works great. Gets very warm. Only drawback is it only stays warm for 10 to 15 minutes. It’s soft on your face and is the perfect weight on my face. Recently tried it on my neck and was great for that also.

Does not look like the product image and is only 5.5" x 8.5", there isn't any stitching to hold beads in place. On the good side it worked very well for my sinus headaches and took only 45 sec. to heat.

Remake. No longer conforms to face. Too small and flat. Stiff ribbon ties instead of fabric.

The picture of the product shows a quilted-like cover that extends over the sinus area of the face, with a cloth covered tie. What I received was basically 2 sacks of beads that just cover the eye area, with a thin ribbon tie. The beads are too heavy over the eyes, there is no stitching to keep the beads from migrating to the bottom of the pouch, and they don’t extend over the sinus area at all. The ribbon tie is awkward to tie, especially if you have long hair. Plus the ties do not support the weight of the beads. About the only positive is that it does hold heat well, but I can’t recommend.

I have severe RA and it has affected my eyes. I needed to find a moist heat wrap to cover as much of my face as I could and MediBeads Moist Heat Therapy - Sinus Wrap fit the bill!!! One to two minutes is all you need to give you the relief of severe facial pain. I get so much comfort and relief from the moisture heat that I'm able to relax and rest. Now this is what I call great therapy. I highly recommend this product to all RA and pain sufferers. It really works!

I just received this item and of course, since it's raining, I had a sinus headache. Thankfully, I was immediately able to use this sinus pack. It heats up easily in the microwave, the moist heat really alleviates sinus pain and pressure quickly, and I found that it holds heat for the time stated. It would be nice if there were Velcro fasteners on the head straps, but you can tie it on. Highly recommended!
